Accessibility WCAG 2.

Purpose of this quiz

It is to identify what has been learned in class and thus reinforce knowledge about accessibility. Also, to
align the same methodology with the Globant university courses.

Evaluation methodology
1. We have 15 questions and 10 possible points to obtain, each question detailing the associated point if it is answered
correctly.

2. 7 points out of 10 possibles are required to pass the evaluation.

3. The field “Justify” displayed in some questions is mandatory, if the field is not completed and the option selected is
correct you only get half the points.

4. The field “justify” must be completed as maximum with 200 characters

5. We recommend doing the exam without material as support, studying previously each criteria of Wcag 2.1 shared in
the presentation or checking the videos.

6. Friday 5 of may, is the deadline to send the file .doc attached in the email to “cristian.r@globant.com”. The subject for
the email should be “Wcag 2.1 + Name and Surname” and for the same mail you will receive the results and
corrections.

NOTE 1: The evaluation should be completed in spanish

NOTE 2: To do the evaluation generate a copy of the original file.

No es correcto, debido a, que el orden del Heading es incorrecto primero va el H2 luego el H3, esto
debido a la regla 1.3.1

Justify: Es incorrecto debido a la regla 2.4.3 donde se dice que el foco debe seguir un orden consistente ,

Justify: No es accesible debido a que primero porque el drag and drop si bien puede ser accesible
mediante un mouse deberíamos verificar si este también permite ser usado por un Teclado esto se
ve en la regla 2.1 y también los elementos debe ser correctamente leído por los screenreades.

Por otro lado, visualmente el contraste parece no ser el adecuado especialmente con la imagen,
texto y el fondo que indica el drag and drop para subir un nuevo archivo, podría traer problemas
para personas con discapacidades visuales o de baja visión por lo que es requerido mínimo un
contraste de 4.5:1 para un texto normal, en este caso entre el gris y el blanco parecería tener un
contraste de menor ratio.

Justify:Sí, ya que, a través de estos se determina que un componente pueda ser correctamente leído por
ejemplo por un screenreader al leer un combobox, puede describir el nombre de ese elemento, su rol
(combo) y su valor (por ejemplo mencionar un elemento de esa lista escogido por el usuario o el valor por
defecto.)

Justify:
Si se recomienda el uso de ambas pues permite que las personas con discapacidades visuales y auditivas o
con ambas, puedan escuchar la descripción del contenido de una página, video , aplicaciones etc. a través
de los screen Reader , por otro lado, pueden visualmente leer o ver información que no puede ser
procesada de manera auditiva.

Axe tools allow us to identify grammatical or comprehension errores in descriptive labels for
components such as buttons, links, etc.

Justify: Si porque Axe puede detectar errores referidos al Parsing de la regla 4.1.1 donde se verifica que
se use la semántica correcta para los elementos, que se tengan los tags de comienzo y finalización
de una etiqueta completos, y también verifica que existan IDs únicos para un elemento.
