CLASS XII
TOPIC : Showing different mapping from the set of 4 West Bengal students, who are learning
dances, to the different dance form of Tamil Nadu.

Materials Required : Few A 4 size white papers, Coloured Pencils, adhesive etc.

Presentation :

1. Writing work : (a) Take 3 fictitious names of West Bengal students.

(b) They learn the dance forms of Tamil Nadu (Bharatnatyam, Mayil
Attam, Kummi, Karakattam, Oyilattam, Pulaiyattam etc)
(c) Define different mappings (one-one, many-one, one to many and
many-many)
(d) Paste the coloured pictures of the different form of dance you are
mentioning in this project.
(e) Show different types of mapping between students and dance forms
(one-one, many-one, one to many, many-many). See the example given below :

(f) The diagram should be drawn using colour pencil and A4 size paper.

(g) You may draw any three mappings.

(h) The project will be of 4-5 pages

2. Submission : Keep all the pages in a lace file, cover it with brown paper, write
your name, class, section, roll number at the top of it and submit it to your respective
teachers (will be announced in the class/MS Teams) within the date of submission.

• This is a part of Term 1 Assessment

• It should be handed over to the teacher (will be mentioned) on the stipulated date, as
given below.
• Late submissions will be penalised
• Work should be neatly done by the student
• The work should be original and not copied from any source
• You should submit the project in a covered lace file, with your name, class, section, roll
number clearly written on it
