HOW TO START THE MODEL FROM SCRATCH

IF, THERE IS NO MODEL FROM CLIENT, REFERENCE IS FCD ONLY

1. Get the Coordinates of lot boundary, and setting out of gridline in the lot

bldg.
3. Set-out na mga columns
Note: Size ng column dapat reference is structural column schedule, Setting-out ng Column
(location nya) base dapat sa archi plans na column setting-out.
If wala nitong column setting-out sa FCD, need ito irequest sa consultant, otherwise mali mali
ang location ng column

Note: Kunin ang model ng column kay Struct or kay BIM, then saka icheck yung mga setting out
ng columns.

4. Next is, layout the building perimeter, check dimensions ng building perimeter from gridlines.
Then if okay na, saka mag model ng interior layout

if there will be discrepancy, RFI agad para si consultant mag decide what to do.

Note for Walls:

- Check if applicable na yung naka lagay sa model yung structure ng wall, like if may plastering,
may paint, etc.
- Wall Height should be under slab or beam soffit, then sa floor naman nasa slab level dapat.

6. After ang walls, next na yung Doors and Windows

Note: Check lang lagi sa Schedule

Note: While nagmomodel, if may makitang discrepancy for example yung beam depth is

8. Next would be Stairs and Ramps, if there is

Note:
- Stair structure either concrete or steel, should be based on the structural plans (thickness of
stringer, sizes of stringer)
- Stair thread and riser base from archi, if iba sa struct, archi shall govern
- Stair finishes (meaning top finish or layer) base from archi
- Then last to model is the railing and finishes
Same concept kapag sa ramp naman

9. Other things na need imodel – Roof Structure, Toilet Details (like fixtures and accessories), etc.

10. For Buildings na multi-level. Then always check floor to floor height from FCD.

WHICH IS WHICH

1. WALL DESIGNATION OR WALL SETTING-OUT

– height, thickness, and wall setting-out (location) archi ang mag govern
– sa details, if CHB or RC Wall, ang details is base sa masonry notes na nasa struct plan
– If drywall, ang details is meron tayo sa standard details, pero pwede din if meron si supplier. If
Ma’am Maria and Ma’am Madonna or Sir Wata)

2. FLOOR FINISH & FLOOR ELEVATION

– archi lahat mag govern dito, unless otherwise sabihin or may instruction si Consultant na ibang
trade ang masusunod.

3. REFLECTED CEILING PLAN

– ceiling structure (ceiling enclosure like ficem or gypsum board) archi mag govern
