1. I am Umar Shahzad, I have done my MBA Finance from Comsats Virtual
University in 2015. Currently I am associated with National Testing Service in the capacity of Financial Account Assistant which is a pioneer educational testing & evaluation organization. 2. I am delegated some of supervisory tasks and some are operational assignments. 3. I have proficiencies in financial & management reporting, reconciliations, execution of complete accounting cycle and analysis. Strengths 1. I believe I am adept, a quick learner and does not quit on any assignment until it give my best. 2. The other is that I love automation. For instance, I use extensive formulas for data digging from MS Excel to derive results quicker. Weakness 1. The weakness I am pretty much aware of is that I may ask too many questions while learning something new. I know I should be a progressive learner and I am working on it. Where do you see yourself? 1. In a year or two, I will get better in the assignment that will delegated upon me and I will put the work in fast pace. Afterwards, I foresee myself in some supervisory decision making endeavor if given the opportunity Professional achievements 1. I believe that customization and integration of information flow of different modules of ERP for NTS is a success. I did that when the senior failed to do so. And surely it will help me in future endeavors. 2. I prescribed a process overhaul to reduce undue delays in payable management. The prescribed overhaul acknowledged controls and authorization mechanism which was endorsed and approved by management. Why leaving NTS 1. I am highly thankful to NTS for providing an extensive learning opportunity, but I think I have given significant time to this industry and my learning curve is now either constant or declining. I think, being associated with this organization/company, will open doors to extend my knowledge, gain diversified industry experiences and enhance my career. Why we should hire you 1. Because I am a very hardworking person. I do my work with full determination and focus. And I am a quick learner. I am always eager to learn and experience something new.
