I#1 RONNIE BOTON
How ICT became a tool in assessing student
learning?

Technology became a tool in assessing learning when it

had proven itself to be useful in teaching. Technology
provides for an intruiging element for the discussion for
the students, capturing their attentions and making the
overall focus of the classroom better. Over time,
technology has also been acknowledged and integrated
into assessment as it has provided a much more efficient
method compared to its contemporaries.
I#2 ROSALYN RIVAS
How ICT became a tool in assessing student
learning?

ICT became a tool in assessing student learning by having

different online educational applications that served as
learning classrooms like Schoology, Google Meet and
MSTeams. These applications allowed teachers and students
to have interactions as responsive as personal discussions,
teachers may ask questions this way. ICT can also be used to
get submissions in quizzes, homeworks or exams through
Gclassrooms.
I#3 FEY DELOS SANTOS
How ICT became a tool in assessing student
learning?

With the use of ICT, assessment became easier. Because it

has the added appeal of functioning similar to the old school
methodologies, ICT became a staple in learning assessment.
The process became much more efficient and coordinated
since the softwares used did most the work and organized
the storage to be easily browsed. The difference also
between old and new assesment method is that they can
provide feedbacks to student input at the comforts of their
I#4 GRETCHEN ANORE
How ICT became a tool in assessing student
learning?

ICT is implemented as an assessment tool through various

differing means, an example may be the most common of alll
online examinations and quizzes. Especially since the start of
the pandemic, teachers have been looking for ways to
conduct assessments without physical proximity, and ICT is
what gave that opportunity. Google Classroom, Google
Forms, Edmodo and Zoom are some of the many apps out
there.
I#5 CARLITO DELOS SANTOS
How ICT became a tool in assessing student
learning?

Technology assisted in the assessment process greatly. As an

example, Google Forms has made the process much more
efficient and easier by automating the validating process
and the feedback responses for each of the questions to the
given activity or quiz. Comparatively, ICT as illustrated by
Google Forms, helped make the process much easier than
before its integration.
I#1 RONNIE BOTON
Cite the different assessment methods and tools utilized by
the teachers.

In assessing students in their speciality of TLE, they make use of

online portfolios and other storage tools to store and organize
their students videos and inputs. In person, they make use of
individual demonstrations and the likes thereof to assess student
learning. When grading, they use Microsoft Excel.
I#2 ROSALYN RIVAS
Cite the different assessment methods and tools utilized by
the teachers.

In formative assessment, they make use of Google Meet,

Schoology, Google Classroom and MS Teams to give feedback
as the students learn.
In Summative assessment, they make use of Kahoot, Quizlet and
Google Forms to grade quizzes and exams.
In Authentic Assessment, they make use of live demonstrations in
Google Meet or Google Drive for blogging videos.
I#3 FEY CARL DELOS SANTOS
Cite the different assessment methods and tools utilized by
the teachers.

In giving quizzes and exams, the tools that they kept using were
Google Forms and Microsoft Word. In making and showing their
presentation, they use Canva and Google Meet respectively.
They also use Jamboard so it would feel like they're using a
whiteboard while teaching, making their students attentive. They
also use Google Class for easier distribution of assignments and
projects as well as an organized storage for student work.
I#4 GRETCHEN ANORE
Cite the different assessment methods and tools utilized by
the teachers.

Assessment methods may differ depending on what is actually

being assessed in the first place, but for English-related
curricula, collaborative self-reflection sessions through
Jamboard is one of these methods. As mentioned, Jamboard is
utilized, but other softwares or websites that can function as an
open board for many participants can make for a good
substitution.
I#5 CARLITO DELOS SANTOS
Cite the different assessment methods and tools utilized by
the teachers.

There are a lot of tools teachers are able to take advantage of

nowadays, but as their personal preference, they have decided
to stick to the use of Google Forms instead of other softwares
and services such as Google Classroom or Edmodo.
I#1 RONNIE BOTON

continue the thought. ( Students)
a. I will use technology in my lesson plan only when….
... either technology would help make the process much more
time-efficient and easier compared to its contemporaries, or the
integration of technology to the discussion makes it much more
understandable or enjoyable, or it is otherwise required by the
topic as a necessity. As discussed together with Sir Boton, I also
believe that while technology is crazy good with the teaching
and learning process, it is also good to still make use of
traditional tools whenever the need arises.

b. In selecting a technology tool to be integrated into a Lesson, I
should …
... make use of those as indicated by the school itself, or if not
assigned, make use of the tools that are either most applicable
to the topic to be discussed or I am most familiar of to ensure a
smooth discussion.

c. I will implement technology tools to make my students connect
with …
... the lessons and discussions since they make them so much
more intruiging for the students. A big part of the teaching and
learning process is student enjoyment, implementing technology
to the lessons will help me connect with the students since they
will enjoy it more.
JAYLO ALCE
5. Finish the fragments by providing your personal ideas to

d. An example of technology integration in a lesson is …
... making use of power point presentations in order to present
the summarized topic and key notes. Making use of internet in
order to show videos or live models relevant to the topics to the
students during discussions. Making use of things like google
forms for asynchronous assesments and quizzes.

e. A creative way of using a mobile tool in a lesson is ….
... to utilize mathematical AIs installable in softwares in order to
check the correct final answer after a long and manual process
of solving it by hand. Students may scan and check the question
answers themselves after the professor demonstrates the
question in order to make for an interactive lesson.

c. I will implement technology tools to make my students connect
with …
... me, their teacher, much better. I am confident enough with
my skills for teaching but without proper aid of technology, my
lesson would slowly turn repetitive and uninteresting to my
students. With technology, I would be able to make the lesson
more entertaining, more cooperative, and more engaging than
usual lectures and note-takings.
YZAAK DELOS SANTOS
5. Finish the fragments by providing your personal ideas to

d. An example of technology integration in a lesson is …
... using projectors and laptops on almost everyday basis. We
have a number of professors that does this and I can say that it
drastically lessen the time they need to hold a chalk or
whiteboard mark but when they do, it always gives an impression
of digging deeper to the topic which makes the students more
attentive.
YZAAK DELOS SANTOS

... it enhances the learning experience and provides
opportunities for active engagement and participation. The
utilization of technology in education should be viewed as a
powerful tool that enhances and reinforces the desired learning
outcomes and objectives of a lesson, rather than being
considered as a superficial addition or a potential source of
diversion.

a. I will use technology in my lesson plan only when….
... It is unquestionably needed. Technology can be handy at all
times, and i'm sure it would be done more effectively if it is by
using technology. I believe, there are no times that the use of
technology will come out futile, but when it is obviously not
required for a certain type of event then I would embrace the
traditional making of lesson plans.

d. An example of technology integration in a lesson is …
... Like the use of television in a classroom, and having a wifi
connection is one of the best examples on how technology can
be integrated in a lesson or in a class. There are times that a
lesson can't be executed plainly through writing it on the board,
so there are times that the use of powerpoints is becoming
excessively convenient, all of this can't be done of course
without wi-fi connection.
