    Kwame was feeling unwell at school and told his teacher he had a stomach ache. The teacher sent Kwame home with another student to be taken to his mother. When his friends visited later, they found Kwame's mother Mrs. Amankwa sewing in her kiosk. She was surprised the boys had come to visit, as Kwame never complained of sickness that morning. When Kwame's father returned, he was angry at Kwame for having left school, saying he had disgraced the family.
