1. The graph below gives information about the preferred leisure activities of
Australian children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown.

You should write at least 150 words.

Information about leisure activities enjoyed by children aged 5 to 14 are given in the table
above. As can be seen in the table, children aged 5 to 14 are divided into boys and girls.

The skateboarding or rollerblading category have statistics that show boys almost
reach 40 percent, while girls have the lowest statistics among all categories, which is 20
percent.

In the Bike Riding category, it can be seen that on the chart there are many
enthusiasts, boys there is almost 80 percent, while girls almost reach 60 percent.

Meanwhile, the Watching TV or Videos category as seen in the graph have the most
enthusiasts, both boys, and girls, which are 100 percent.

The category of electronic or computer games has a statistic of 80 percent for boys
while 60 percent for girls.

In the last category, art and craft, as seen in the graph, boys are the lowest of all
categories, which is under 35 percent, while girls almost reach 60 percent.
2. The chart below shows estimated world literacy rates by region and by gender
for the year 2000.

The graph above illustrates the estimated world literacy rate, by region and sex in

2020. The graph shows six regions and two genders where the graph shows that the illiteracy

rate of the six regions is dominated by women and the number of illiterate people. a little,

namely in developed countries and the largest number of illiterate people, namely in the

South Asia region. Based on the order of the number of illiterate people from the smallest to

the largest of the six regions, namely in developed countries, Latin America / Caribbean, East

Asia / Oceania, Sub-Saharan Africa, Arab countries, and finally in South Asia. The number

of illiterates in developed countries is around two males and three females. Also, in the Latin

America / Caribbean region, there are about ten males and thirteen females. Then in the East

Asia / Oceania region, there are about eight males and twenty females. For sub-Saharan

Africa, there are about thirty males and forty-eight females. In the territory of the Arab

country, there are about twenty-nine males and fifty-three females who are illiterate. And

finally in the South Asia region, which is about thirty-five males and fifty-five females
3. The bar chart below shows the results of a survey conducted by a personnel department at
a major company. The survey was carried out on two groups of workers: those aged from
18-30 and those aged 45-60, and shows factors affecting their work performance.

The personnel department of a large company has conducted a survey on two groups of

workers, namely those aged 18-30 and those aged 45-60 years and managed to identify the

factors that affect their performance, which is shown in the bar chart above. On the Team

Spirit factor, there was no difference between those aged 18-30 and those aged 45-60, both of

whom had the same statistics. Meanwhile, there is a statistically significant difference in

Chance for personal development, Relaxed working environment, and Promotion prospects

where those aged 18-30 have a greater chance than those aged 45-60. Competent boss and

respect from colleagues, those aged 45-60 have a greater chance than those aged 18-30
because those aged 45-60 have gained work experience status and company loyalty.

Meanwhile, the Job satisfaction and Money factors can be seen in the statistics of those aged

18-30 which are slightly superior when compared to those aged 45-60.
