Re: Junior Process Engineer (Atyrau Office)

I am writing to apply for a Junior Process Engineer (Atyrau Office) position, which I saw advertised on ILF
Consulting Engineers official page on LinkedIn. I believe that my knowledge and experience in the chemical
engineering discipline make me an appropriate candidate for this position at your company. This letter will
provide reasons why I want to join the company and mention points which play in favor of my candidacy.

You state in your job listing that you are looking for someone with strong knowledge in process engineering.
During my college years, I accomplished several projects related to process design engineering, I would like
to highlight a capstone project as an example, called “Production of 10000 tons of the Methyl Ethyl Ketone
per year”. Throughout these projects, I have learned the designing PFD, P&ID, developing designs of
production units with material balances, performing market and economic analysis, and stimulating the
production process with software such as Aspen Plus& HYSIS. In the job description, you mentioned that
candidate should have these skills, and I think job duty demands perfectly match with my profile, thus, I
would like to bring my skills to the position within your company.

Apart from the academic courses, the university offered opportunities for internship programs. I pursued
internship programs as a chemical engineer and process engineer at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating
B.V and Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery, respectively. Internships aimed to enhance engineering
knowledge to facilitate the health, safety, the environment, and economic well-being of communities and
corporations. Also, this practical experience gave me an idea about relationships between customer
companies and service providers, which assisted me to understand the specific demands of the local main
customers such as TCO, NCOC, and KPO BV in my further career. These client companies are in the
domain of the ILF Consulting Engineers, hence, knowing how to provide service for them makes me a
favorable candidate among other candidates.

After my graduation, I have joined my current job at AGS Champion (Aksay Gas Service and Nalco
Champion), which is providing chemical engineering services to North Caspian Operating Company. As a
chemical process engineer, I am responsible for water and wastewater treatment packages, where I have
proposed several optimizations in sludge dewatering, phosphate treatment, reduced costs of the chemical
applications, and governed basic hydro-informatics projects such as reverse osmosis normalization tools.
Working in the operational department allowed developing troubleshooting and optimization skills,
investigation skills. There is one technical field that attracts me apart from mentioned duties, I think
engineering consulting is the highest form of technical role. Thus, I feel huge potential and desire for growth
in engineering consulting, and this a main attractive point of ILF Consulting Engineers for me.

These strengths, combined with the deep and varied academic, internship, and employment experience,
have prepared me to make a strong and immediate impact at ILF Kazakhstan Consulting Engineers LLC. I
am excited about the opportunity to join as a recent graduate, thank you for your time and consideration.
