Necessary tools required for installation works:

1- Hand tools (hammer, rubber hammer, chisel, screw driver etc.)

2- Spirit level.
3- Jig saw.
4- Manual circular saw.
5- Drilling machines.
6- Miter saw.
7- Cordless drilling.
8- Scaffolding.
9- Materials Lifter.
10- Sanding machine.

Transportation and protection:

All joinery shall be kept covered during transit and kept clear of the ground
at the site.
It shall be handled and stacked carefully to avoid damage.
Components shall be staggered or separated with spacers as necessary to
prevent damage.
All the materials/components shall be wrapped carefully and ensure
protection from scratches and other damages.

Storage at site:
1- The store on site shall be clean, dry area.
2- All products shall be protected from dirt and risk of damage from others
working like flooring, plaster, top coat for walls, and tiles works etc.
3- Humidity on site should be within the range during storage and
installation on site.
4- All products shall be stacked level and flat , on timber support covered
to avoid marking on the finished surface .
5- Condition of temperature and humidity during storage and installation
shall be as close as possible to those expected in the occupied building .
6- After installation there shall not be sudden or extreme change in
temperature and humidity.
7- Storage and installation temperature shall be 20 to 30 on site.

Identifications:
Proper labeling shall be done to identify the product on site.
 Manufacturing:
1- Cutting wood, acrylic, SS tubes and fins and preparing as per
approved shop drawings using 3D CNC machinery.
2- Smoothing wood and preparing surfaces for painting.
3- Filling wood surfaces defects using natural putty filler.
4- Staining wood color by solvent base stain.
5- Smoothing wood and soft sanding.
6- Spraying on the wood one coat of polyurethane top coat gloss.
7- Make grove for acrylic.
8- Engrave wood to receive horizontal SS fins.
9- Making wooden bracelets to cover the vertical stainless tubes of the
same type of wood‫ز‬
CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGY

CIVIL WORKS

Formation levels/exact location will be established with IMAR surveyor.

SUBSTRUCTURES

- Fix baseplate to floor by Hilti bolts as per approved shop drawings/material approval.
- Welding SS vertical tubes.
- Welding SS horizontal tubes.

SUPERSTRUCTURES

When the substructures are suitably advanced the construction of the reinforced.

Scaffolding will be erected on site at this stage, to assist with the material distribution during the frame
construction by IMAR.

INSTALLATION

- Panel cladding will be installing in lower part as per shop drawings.

- Wood fins layers will follow and will connect together with horizontal pin as
per approved shop drawings and calculation study.
- 120X16mm THK. Stainless steel and concealed horizontal by wood.
- Frosted Acrylic will be fix on the wooden groves.
- SS tubes will be covered by wood tubes slightly bigger than SS tubes.
- SS tubes will connect with each other in top and will cover by wood
capping.
EXTERNAL WORKS
Around the perimeter of the wood cocoon will dismantling of the external
access scaffolds. Following handover of the wood cocoon will be cleaned,
inspected and accepted along with the rest of the cocoons.
