AALIYAH PATULOT CHARLES JADEN MACARAIG HANNAH ARIANNE MENDOZA JAZ NICELE CASTOR • Chef Boy Logro is not just a chef but an entrepreneur. He gained popularity through various cooking shows on television demonstrating his culinary skills. He has ventured into the food business sector using his fame and expertise. One of his restaurants is located in San Juan Manila, the 7 Flavors Buffet, which integrates as many as possible of the flavors sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami, spicy and astringent. He also has a restaurant in Dubai, the Paluto Restaurant by Chef Boy Logro, and Chef Logro’s Grill and Buffet in Cavite. He put up his own culinary school, Chef Logro’s Institute of Culinary and Kitchen Services (CLICKS), which he would later expand to Compostela Valley. • The name "Boy Logro" and the person itself are both unassuming, but the impressive back story—from a cleaner in Manila to the first Filipino executive chef of a five-star hotel—is impressive. Being fearless to lend a big amount and an experienced man, even an elementary graduate, moved by his dream to set up a business that is not necessarily big but has some impact and helps the PABLO LOGRO poor, he did not dream to get rich immediately, just sustainable businesses where he could delegate work to trusted employees and just pay them. Logro has a push- and-pull attitude in his principle of innovating, and imagination must continue but have a green light for only products that are, like his brand, relevant to healthy products • The skills aligned it to the PECs that are needed in cookery via showing his worth and perseverance to other people, since just like mentioned earlier that Boy Logro is an elementary graduate and he also used to be a cleaner in Manila. It is astonishing because even though he went through a lot of challenges that he faced in life, that didn’t stop him from his dream of becoming an amazing chef. He is also the type of person who is a risk-taker the fact that he is fearless and persistent tohis dream which is to become a chef. • A recommendation that we can give to be successful in the food industry is that you need to be hard - working and dedicated to your work. This means however long it takes you must have patience and perseverance to keep going. You must also be familiar in all kinds of foods because most of the people do not focus with few tastes in food but they want to try new flavors. In short you must have the characteristics that the customers or the people will expect you to have.
