DIVISION MEMORANDUM
No. 144 , S. 2020
LCP-CAPACITY BUILDING: IMPLEMENTATION

To: SDO, CID, & SGOD Personnel

Public School Heads
All Others Concerned

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2020, Div. Memo. No. 102, 114, and 116, s. 2020, this office has finally done the Quality Assurance of
the Learning Package for the Capacity Building for Teachers and Instructional Leaders. Given this, a series of 12-day Capacity Building for
Teachers and Instructional Leaders will be first conducted starting July 27, 2020 (see enclosed calendar). The schedule will be subject to
flexibility with the approval of this office.

2. The Capacity Building would ensure that by completing the learning package, each participant is able to:
a. deepen understanding and appreciate the effectiveness of Distance Learning Modalities;
b. identify useful ICT tools which can be used in the different Learning Delivery Modalities (LDM) and other given tasks;
c. affirm the value of ICT in the delivery of the basic education services; and
d. perform tasks synergizing the principles in ICT and LDM.

3. This office aims to conduct this training to all DepEd Naga Personnel both teaching and non-teaching. However, to ensure the quality of the training,
those who will conduct the online classes will be given priority. All the rest will be trained on a later date.

4. The Capacity Building will be conducted through FB Live in a private group with small chat groups for technical support in case each participant finds
difficulty in following the session. The default setup is a Work-from-home scheme. However, if the internet is not stable at home, participants may look for a
conducive place for the webinar. Relative to this event, a ‘Training of Trainers’ for the Technical Support Team (TST) will be held on July 21-24, 2020, and on
July 25, 2020, at 1:00 pm, a general orientation of participants will be held.

5. Based on the recommendation given by the ICT facilitators during the consultation and quality assurance, participants are expected to prepare
themselves with all the requirements set per Advisory No. 5, dated July 10, 2020.

6. The grant of certificates with equivalent CPD Units will be based on the performance tasks/outputs which will be strictly monitored.

7. The SDO Conference Hall shall serve exclusively as Head Quarter (HQ) on said dates for the TWG and speakers while the webinar/session is going
on.

8. All personnel involved in this activity are reminded to observe the minimum health requirements and protocols especially in cases where face to face
interaction becomes necessary.

9. Each speaker and the members of the technical working group shall be given ₱ 150.00/day for meals (150). Other expenses such are
materials needed/relative to this activity shall be chargeable to Division MOOE/HRD and/or other funds available. All expenses are subject to
the usual accounting or auditing rules and regulations.

10. Activities held on Saturdays will be equated with corresponding Service credits for teachers and Compensatory Time Off for non-
teaching personnel under DO 53, s. 2003. Debriefing activities and meetings of the TWG may also be granted the same when circumstances
so require.

11. Enclosed is the Matrix for the Learning Package, Daily Setup, Calendar, List of Technical Working Group, Training Framework,
Contingency/Mitigation Plan, and Technical Requirements numbered as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. The final list for the first group of participants will be issued in an
advisory after a thorough validation is completed.

12. For other concerns, send a message to Hrd-sgod Deped-naga Facebook Messenger or through 09205413306.

13. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
