MOBILE LEGENDS: BANG BANG TOURNAMENT 2023

RULES AND REGULATIONS

This competition is conducted in accordance with the conditions and rules set by the Organization
Committee of Our Lady of Lourdes School of Novaliches.

1.0 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

1.1 Only Junior and Senior High School students, currently enrolled at Our Lady of Lourdes
School of Novaliches, are allowed to join as Participants during this competition.

1.2 Participants and their Squads should bring and provide their own Mobile Devices (i.e.,
Mobile Phones and Tablets), chargers, and or power banks for use during the whole
tournament.

1.3 To avoid complaints, Participants and their Squads should also have their own data
connectivity or WIFI devices during the whole tournament.

2.0 REGISTRATION

2.1 All Participants must pay Two Hundred Pesos (₱200.00) each as registration fee.

2.2 All Participants must register their In-Game-Name (IGN), along with their Mobile Legends:
Bang Bang player ID (MLBB-ID).

2.3 Participants are prohibited to join more than 1 Squad.

2.4 Each Squad can only have 6 Participants as members (5 players + 1 reserve player).

2.5 All competing Squads should delegate their Team Captain and register all 6 of their members,
together with their “Squad Name” and Logo (Optional), to the Organization Committee.

2.6 Indecent, vulgar, and improper IGNs and Squad Names are strictly prohibited for use in this
tournament.

2.7 After registration, Squads are prohibited to replace any of their members (including their
reserved player).

2.8 The act of registering for this tournament implies the full acceptance of all terms, conditions,
rules and regulations stated in its entirety.
3.0 MATCH REGULATION

3.1 Team Captains must accept the tournament schedule, and make sure all of their members are
available before the tournament commences.

3.2 Each Squad must check in 30 minutes earlier from their match schedule.

3.3 Each participant is required to use their registered ID and IGN only.

3.4 Spectating is prohibited during this tournament. Only Admin and the Official Casters are
allowed in the game.

3.5 Each round of matches should be set up in Custom Mode/Draft Pick, as a 5v5 Match Up
battle with 3 heroes ban.

3.6 The Organizing Committee reserves the rights to disqualify any Squad(s) or enforce a
replacement of player(s) in a team to their sole discretion.

3.7 Failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations of this tournament will automatically result
in disqualification.

3.8 The Organizing Committee is not liable for any losses, injuries or damages over the course of
the tournament. No person or persons shall hold the event organizers liable.

3.9 The Tournament will have its qualifiers on a single-elimination format, quarter finals on a
best-of-2 format, while semis and finals on a best-of-3 format.

4.0 IN-GAME REGULATION

4.1 At the arranged time, the match-up lobby will be created under Custom Mode/Draft Pick by
the first squad’s Team Captain. Afterwards, the first squad leader will invite the opposing
squad's Team Captain to join too.

4.2 After both side's Team Captains have joined the matching lobby, each of them should invite
their squad members to join while ensuring their opponent’s players and account IDs are
correct.

4.3 After confirming the identity of the opposing squad, they can begin the match and start
battling.

4.4 Each competing squad is required to ban Three (3) heroes. Failure to ban two (2) heroes for
each squad will rematch the game.
5.0 GENERAL CONDUCT REGULATION

5.1 Participants must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner, maintaining a friendly and
polite demeanor at all times.

5.2 Players will refrain from the use of vulgar language during the entire competition. All rules of
conduct also apply to chatting through the game console.

5.3 Players are expected to compete in a professional manner. Throwing a match, halting play
without cause, or showing a flagrant lack of effort will be construed as a violation of player
conduct, and will result in match penalties, forfeit and disqualification from the Tournament.

5.4 The Organizing Committee has the right to apply penalties, disqualify and dismiss any
registered player from the tournament at their discretion.

6.0 MATCH END

6.1 At the end of each match, each Team Captain must screenshot the match result for the
purpose of verification and as proof of the match.

6.2 After Two (2) matches, every squad can rest for Five (5) minutes and during the break, all
members can restart their mobile phone and ready for their next match. Team Captains should
meet the secretariat for the next match if the game has ended.

6.3 The results will be recorded by the Person-In-Charge.

7.0 PRIZE

7.1 Prize will be given to the winners in first, second and third place (together with fourth place).
