1. General
Update
As
you
are
aware
our
society
came
into
being
in
early
September
this
year
and
since
then
a
great
number
of
things
have
happened
to
make
the
society
function
and
to
start
getting
the
basics
in
place.
2.
Elected

The
inaugural
meeting
of
interested

will
operate
in
accordance

Development
of
the
Society
It
is
very
early
days
for
our
society
and
we
are
very
thankful
for
all
offers
of
help
from
the
members
as
well
as
other
European
Societies
we
have
received
so
far.
2014
will
be
about
getting
all
of
the
major
key
stones
in
place
for
the
society
to
grow
and
function
well.
The
initial
reaction
to
our
society
has
been
generally
positive
and
we
are
looking
to
work
together
with
the
established
societies
as
well
as
helping
to
set
up
groups
interested
in
European
countries
where
there
is
currently
no
dedicated
group.
Here
in
the
UK
we
will
concentrate
on
joined-up
marketing
and
publicity
to
make
it
a
lot
easier
to
find
the
relevant
society
whether
that
is
on
the
web
or
at
a
show
near
you.
You
will
see
more
details
on
the
following
pages.

Thanks
to
Ron’s
fast

since
September
and
work
on
it
continues
to
attract
interest.

We
have
had
a
short

in
Continental

also
now
placed
a
regular

in
Continental
Modeller.
We
have
also
been
entered
into
the
UK
Modelshop
directory
website
under
the
Specialist
Societies
section.
We
are
preparing
small
display
cases
in
A3
size
to
work
as
mini
stands
and
we
have
already
an
encapsulated
A3

available.

Products
We
are
also
able
to
offer
dedicated
ERA
clothing

sale
via
an
established
quality
supplier.
This
is
strictly
on
an
order
basis.
I
have
enclosed
an
order
form
at
the
back
of
the
newsletter.
We
are
still
looking
at
some
design
details
at
the
time
of
writing
so
please
allow
time
for
the
garments
to
arrive.
The
garments
are
blue
and
contain
our
logo
,
the
full
society
name
and
you
can
have
your
own
name
added
in
!
The
second
product
available
is
a
society
sticker
approximately
75
by
75mm
This
will
retail
at
£1
at
shows
and
£1.60
per
post.
Next
year
more
products
will
come
on
stream
but
we
will
keep
it
to
a
sensible
level.
Attached
to
this
newsletter
is
also
an
order
form
for
three
guides
which
I
have
written
this
year
covering
how
to
make
trees,
rocks
and
a
general
mountain
landscape
design
guide.
The
first
one
is
available
now.
