We are going to talk about the CBT, the 10
Principle of CBT, my role as your trainer and
your role as my trainees, CBLM content,
monitoring tools, training flows and the unit
of competency covered by this qualification.

CBT – out-based or skill-based training,
10 Principle of CBT – to be use in training

TOUR TO FAMILIARIZE WITH THE 9
COMPONENTS in CBT WORKSHOP
Contextual LA – this area ensures that your
underpinning knowledge for example in math,
science and communication principles as applied
to the technology are provided to you.
LRA – it provides you with the knowledge
requirements in the various modules responding
to competencies.
PWA – where you can acquire the skills and
knowledge components of the competencies
prescribed by the standard.
TRA – where you can find the LMs, TRs and cur
exemplars. Also the area where I (trainer)
produce training materials.
QCA – where testing of the quality of work or
product happens
IAA – where RPL is done by the trainer and upon
your completion of all modules within a
competency. I will be given you a COA.
DLA – it enables the learning provision outside
from the training institution in the term of print
and non-print media. BTW, this is implemented
in selected qualifications and TC with internet
connections.
CLA – where you can have an access to the
computer units to learn and gain appropriate IT
competencies.
SSA – provides value-adding competencies that
addresses the underpinning skills in the
particular competency.

proceed to our proper training.

result since I will use it to determine your prior
knowledge and help me to personalized your

Anyway, I have here your TC and SAC.
So according to the training characteristics
and self-assessment checklist that I have
here, Mr. ABARCA has a relevant experience
with this qualification. Mr. ABARCA had a
driving experience in Toyota Company for 5
years. This is really good actually. 😊
But don’t worry to those who haven’t any
relevant experience, we will have a 118
hours of training for this qualification so you
can acquire all the knowledge and skills
needed for this qualification, okay.😊
Also, I have here the result of your Pre-Test
yesterday.
Mr. ABARCA got 25 out of 30 and Ms. UNICA
got 15 out of 30.
Anyways, like what I have said yesterday,
this training recognizes prior learning so you
don’t have to undergo the same training
again.
Since Mr. ABARCA had a driving experience
for 5 years. I will mark you RPL in our COC2
w/c is Drive Light Vehicle.
So Mr. ABARCA, what particular COC you

graduate. 😊 That’s okay. I assure you that
you can acquire the skills and knowledge
needed for this qualification.

Vehicle Maintenance and Servicing
Let’s go to the LRA. Here’s your LM, read the
Information Sheet 1.1.1 and answer the Self-

Mr. Abarca I observe that you check the
brake pedal before driving and you actually
know how to use the brake lightly and
gently. I observe also that you stop in the red
light without blocking the pedestrian lane.

and observe the traffic rules and regulations.
Also you dress according the prescribed by

This is your PCC. This will be your guide to
perform the task easily.
Ms. ALARAMIS, I notice that you didn’t do a
pre-wash. Sinabon mo na agad. And kapag
po naglilinis tayo ng vehicle, it should always
start form the upper part of the car down to
the bottom. To give you more knowledge
regarding that, let’s go back to the CLA.
I will show you a video about cleaning a
vehicle unit.

do pre-wash na and you start to clean the
upper part of the car. I am impressed how
you polish the car and napakapolido ng
pagka vacuum mo sa sahig at upuan ng
sasakyan. 😊

I notice that you already know how to clean
a vehicle unit. You know what to do first in
cleaning a vehicle. You’re doing good in
using the vacuum cleaner and you polish
well the car. Since you did a very good job in
this competency. I will check you here and

and you dried it well ha. Pwede ng magtayo
ng sariling carwash shop.

Since you performed the task well. I already
saw naman na you really know what you are
doing. From pre-wash, applying the car
shampoo, waxing, using the vacuum,
applying the protectant lotion, tire black and
drying up the vehicle. So, I will check you
here and then here and mark you
competent. Here is your another COA.

I observed that you fasten your seatbelt first,
you checked your side mirrors, and the
brake pedals before you start the engine.
And you do a great job for that.

I am impressed on how you performed the
task for COC2. It is very important that
before we driving off, we make sure nan aka-
seatbelt tayo. Also, we have to check our side
mirrors and brake pedals. It can actually
save us diba? We can never say the accident,
right.
