urban population can not afford private health care sector due to health care services being too costly in
Bangladesh. This business is going to offer urban people to get better healthcare services at a cheaper
rate than private healthcare sectors. Furthermore, this business is going to offer financial aids to the
people in need. In order to do this, we are going to need a substantial amount of funding to start with.
As it is already mentioned above, our motive is to provide a bridge between doctors and patients while
maintaining quality. And this is going to require much funding in the initial stage. There are currently
other e-commerce organization like this one, however, none of them are providing every single
healthcare services. There are opportunity gaps. This business is going to sum up the opportunities. For
instance, we are going to be connected with both public and private healthcare sectors. This will ensure
both quality and assurance from government. Since we are affiliated with public sector, we are going to
get mass people.

What market are you going to establish in your business? Local, State or National?

The market this business is going to be established in is state level. As it is already mentioned, the
primary target audience is city dwellers. The people who cannot afford private healthcare sector
because of being too costly. Bangladesh has a huge population. Many people are deprived from proper
healthcare. We are going to start with the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka city. It will already need a
substantial amount and it is not possible to cover the whole nation in the initial stage. But that is our
target in the future.

How is the market structured and what is the nature of the industry? What size is it? Is it a growing
market and what are its future prospects?

The healthcare sector in Bangladesh is well aligned. But the nature of the industry is not that well. It has
been a really long time since a proposal like this has been approved by government. In 1992, the last
step was taken. In 2005, as step was tried to be taken, however, it failed. Our business proposal will be
in state level during the initial stage. The volume or size ratio in initial stage is going to be medium.
When we will be able to proceed towards national level, the size ration will increase from medium to
high. It is a very growing market. People are getting more and more concerned about health. A little
mistake in healthcare can lead to a gigantic problem in the future. As long as there are people, this
market will continue to grow more and more. The future prospect is to expand from state level to
national level.

The main target audience is city dwellers which results in attracting large portion of the population.
There are many people in this country who cannot afford the cost of private health care sector. The
country does not focus on insurance-based system. Hence, people need to pay for service which is
costly. Our target is the mass people. Which will generate in more revenue.

What are their needs and how will you satisfy them?

The needs of our target audience are getting proper healthcare at a cheaper rate. The service that is
going to set us apart from our competitors are providing service at a cheaper rate. We will provide a
bridge between doctors and patients. The doctors and diagnostic centers will be legally certified. Many
diagnostic centers of our country do not have legal documents which results in declination of quality.

On what basis do they choose suppliers?

The customers choose suppliers on the basis of uniqueness nowadays. They also keep in mind the price
ratio. Our service will not just be full of quality, it will also be reasonable. This will help us attract more
and more customers. More importantly, the customers are in dire need of assistance. The healthcare
cost in Bangladesh is too costly. Our aim will also end up assisting a large portion of people.

Who are the competitors in the market?

There are few online based platforms which provide similar services like us. For instance, Prava health,
Maya, Moshal Health, Tonic, DoctorDekhao, Shebaghor etc. They are currently existing in the market. All
of them are providing fine service but our service is going to be more unique. This will set us apart from
their business. We are going to utilize the opportunity gaps in their business. It will result beneficially for
us. This is our way into the market.

What are their strength and weaknesses?

The strength of our competitor is that they are operating in the business before us. They already have
some market to them. They are well-linked with the government. They introduced online healthcare
consultancy to customers. However, their service lacks and lefts us with opportunity gaps. For example,
they are not providing every service in healthcare. They are just providing consultancy and this leaves us
with an opportunity gap. We are providing not only consultation but also diagnostic assistance.
Moreover, we will also provide financial funds to those who are in need. We are going to set a
transparent system of medical and lab test. Also, due to cheaper rate, we will get mass number of
customers where our competitors are targeting selected amount.
