SPEAKING/DICTION: Excellent Progress


+ The student remains conversant in class. He can explain her opinions very well. He is able to put into
use all the words that we’ve learned in the discussion. He has good wordplay for he can put his ideas
clearly into words.
- There are times that the student gives delayed answer but he is still able to give either correct or
related answers. He also stutters but it only happens sometimes.

GRAMMAR: Good Progress


+ The student commits errors sometimes when it comes to word usage but he is able to make correct
sentences most of the time. He also accept correction and apply it immediately.
- The student gets to over construct his sentences. He also commits run-ons. There are instances the he
gets confused whether to use a word as a noun or a verb. For example, "Evidence", “He is evidencing to
solve the crime."

PRONUNCIATION: Excellent Progress


+ The student can enunciate words well when he speaks. His accent is quite promising at the same time.
He has good rhythm when he is reading and he can in accordance with the ending marks of each
sentence.
- Since he is still learning, most of the times when he speaks longer, his words start to sound as if he is
mumbling and he tends to get tongue tied. We just need to do more reading so he can pronounce the
words fluently. He also needs to practice to put some emotions when he reads so that he can deliver the
story very well.

LISTENING/COMPREHENSION: Excellent Progress


+ He is able to understand every discussion because he gives his full attention in class. He asks questions
when needed. He can grasp each discussion and can share her own opinion about the topics being
tackled. It is also easy for his to connect with the speaker. He enthusiastically listens well in class. The
student was also able to lessen doing other things during class time.
- There isn’t much to be dealt with this area. He is well aware of every discussion and only segues to
other discussions when he wants to talk about other things.

FINAL RECOMMENDATION:
Read a book, newspaper or journal in English that is just above your current level of reading with a
dictionary. This will help to learn new vocabulary words in a fun way. This is also a great tip for
improving English in a technical field. Even by spending a mere 15 minutes a day, your skills can improve
drastically.
