Kesler,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to communicate about the project that I
have been working on. The purpose of this project is to support the novice teachers.
The course will prepare experienced teachers with specific tasks that will be upcoming
that the new teacher might have questions. Our purpose is to provide a smooth first
year to all new teachers coming to our campus. The idea is to help teachers to support
new teachers to be able to retain the number of new teachers. My goal is to maintain
our teachers and build solid foundations for our teacher to impact the students' learning.
When the teachers have the science of teaching under their belt, this is evident in our
students' success.
I have received positive feedback from the project. We are providing our students
training. The engagement level of students has increased due to technology integration.
Students are scoring above average because of the explicit instruction. In addition, our
teachers are happy to see these results and they have expressed how smooth the
process has been. Educators are learning from peers. They have also worked along
The weaknesses within the plan is that students that are not attending school
assessments we are able to track student performance. As of now our students have
seen a higher number of assessments; this is something I will be thinking about as the
instructional designer. I will be speaking with our team to brainstorm alternative ways to
opportunity to take on full responsibility for this program. I am truly honored to be given
such an important role here on our campus. I am devoted to this project and I know we
continue to see great results as we get closer to reaching all goals for this project. I
hope to touch bases with you as we finalize our last months of this school year. Please
let me know your thoughts and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you,
Katherine Soto
