ESA Suzuki Cello Teacher Trainer Haukur F. Hannesson, licensed by the European
Suzuki Association (ESA), with support from the Västerås School of the Arts offers a
Suzuki Cello Teacher Training course during 2023-2024 for ESA Level 3, ESA Level 4
and ESA Level 5.
The course is divided into four course periods in Västerås and covers the following
Suzuki cello books:
• Level 3: Books 4 och 5.
• Level 4: Books 6 och 7
• Level 5: Books 8, 9 och 10
This training course takes place in Västerås, Sweden. This is a non-residential course*.
Location: Västerås School of the Arts, Viktor Larssons plats 1, Västerås, Sweden.
Dates:
Period 1: Saturday, March 25 to Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Västerås
Period 2: Tuesday, August 1 to Friday, August 4, 2023, in Västerås
Period 3: Thursday, January 4 to Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Västerås
Period 4: Saturday, March 16 to Sunday, March 17, 2024 in Västerås
Exam: No examination. The course will be assessed by Continuous Assessment
(CA) which means that the course examiners assess the course participants’
work continually during the course. There will be quite a lot of filming,
covering own playing and teaching.
The course starts at 11 am on the first day of each course period and ends at 2 pm
(14.00) on the last day of each course period.
Course fee: SEK 19,700 + 25% Value Added Tax (VAT) for the entire course and
examination/Continuous Assessment. (Registration fee SEK 2,500 + 25% VAT. The rest
SEK 17,200 + 25% VAT payable in one, two or more instalments by individual
agreement.)
Accommodation and food: Participants arrange their own accommodation and food.
