If your child is lying it means you overreacted to the mistakes in the past

Have your kids ever looked you straight in the eye and lied?

It’s because you have made him/her learn that truth always lead to punishment or yelling or anger. And
byhe/she has also learned that never to say truth in lifetime from your OVERREACTING.

Build the connection with your child. parent with empathy and not anger. Love is the only language
which goes direct in their brain. Actually most of the time parents forget about the age gap before giving
lecture to their kids.

Give kudos for honesty, forgive them easily, lead by example.

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for
man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." (James 1:19)
A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-
tempered." (Proverbs 27:17)

IF YOUR CHILD IS A COWARD, IT IS BECAUSE YOU HELP THEM TOO QUICKLY. DON’T REMOVE EVERY
OBSTACLE FROM THEIR PATH.

IF YOUR CHILD INTENTIONALLY DISTURBS YOU, IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT PHYSICALLY AFFECTIONATE
ENOUGH

IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES, IT IS BECAUSE FROM A YOUNG AGE YOU HAVE
DISCIPLINED THEM REGULARLY IN PUBLIC. PARENTS SHOULDN'T DO SO EVEN IN FRONT OF SIBLINGS,
FRIENDS OR COUSINS.

IF YOUR CHILD HAD POOR SELF-ESTEEM, IT IS BECAUSE YOU ADVISE THEM MORE THAM YOU
ENCOURAGE THEM

IF YOU BUY EVERYTHING FOR YOUR CHILDREN STILL THEY TAKE THINGS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO
THEM, IT IS BECAUSE YOU DONT LET THEM CHOOSE.

IF YOUR CHILD DOESN'T RESPECT OTHERS FEELINGS, THE REASON MIGHT BE YOU ALWAYS ORDER
THEM- NOT GIVING IMPORTANCE TO THFIR FEELNGS.

IF YOUR CHILD IS JEALOUS, THE REASON MIGHT BE YOU COMPARED THEM WITH OTHERS
CONSISTENTLY.

IF YOUR CHILD GETS ANGRY QUICKLY, THE REASON MIGHT BE YOU HAVE NOT PRAISED THEM ENOUGH.
THEY ONLY GET ATTENTION MISBEHAVING.

IF THE CHILD BEHAVES RUDELY, IT IS LEARNT FROM PARENTS OR OTHERS LIVING WITH THEM.
