UNIT/ TOPIC:Unit 6 – present simple/present continuous with a future meaning
TYPE OF LESSON: Revision
LESSON AIMS:
 to develop Ss’ writing, speaking and reading skills;
 to reinforce the vocabulary of the unit;
 to provide guidance in practising the vocabulary and grammar structures learnt in this unit.
LESSON OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
 use the vocabulary of the unit in proper contexts;
 identify the places in town;
 practise the present simple/present continuous.

DIDACTIC STRATEGIES:
a)methods and skills:
 conversation, exercise, explanation, global reading-scanning
 Listening, speaking, reading and writing
b)materials and aids:
 Flashcards, textbooks, notebooks, board, handout.
ASSUMPTIONS: Students are already familiar with the vocabulary.
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
 Because of the big number of Ss, they may be noisy.
SOLUTIONS: Create a pleasant and warm atmosphere, provide explanations, when necessary, encourage them to give answers.
