BUED EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Bued East Elementary School in its commitment to ensure that education must continue amidst the
uncertainties of face to face classes brought by COVID-19 and in compliance to Republic Act No. 11480,
supported the opening of classes on September 13, 2021 by implementing Brigada Eskwela Program from
August 3 to September 30, 2021.
We adopted the Slogan “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan” to emphasize our collective efforts in
promoting collaboration for safe living and addressing social issues and concerns in school, at homes and
in the community.
We participated in the National Kick-Off Program of Brigada Eskwela last August 3, 2021 and
held our own Virtual Kick-Off Ceremony last August 16, 2021. As we implement Brigada Eskwela, we
comply with the required health sandards, which include social distancing measures and practicing proper
hygiene consistent with the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases health
protocols, DOH health standards, local and national quarantine rules and all other relevant protocols.
The traditional concept of Brigada Eskwela, which involves physical cleaning, repainting, and doing
minor repairs still happened during the implementation at Bued East Elementary School. We coordinated
with the Local Government unit and other stakeholders for the provision of needed materials/essentials in
school.
We raised the availability of the following items in the school during Brigada Eskwela:
COVID-19 Sanitation/Proper handwashing hygiene information materials
Printing materials and supplies for distance learning for our learners (Bond Papers, Ink, Toner
and others)
Hand sanitizing materials like alcohol and soap
Medical Devices and equipment like thermometer
Facemasks and face shields
Cleaning tools, materials or disinfectants
Multivitamins for teaching and non-teaching personnel
Orientation activities with teachers, learners and parents on the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) are conducted.
We also encouraged parents and learners to continue implement the “Gulayan sa Tahanan or
Urban Vegetable Gardening at Home as part of the Brigada Eskwela and School-Family-Community
Partnership. Partnership for Wash In Schools (WINS) was also given importance. Brigada Pagbasa was
also conducted.
In support for the reproduction of modules, committed alumnus of Bued East Elementary School
and private individuals donated bond papers. An alcohol dispenser was also donated by a private
individual.
