Introduction:

In this research Work, I am going to focus on the following topics such as: simple
present, simple past, present Continuous, past Continuous, present perfect, past perfect,
future simple and future perfect.

The general objective of this research Work is to be valued and the methodologies used
in this work is bibliographic.

Simple Present.

We use the simple present to talk about a repeated action, fixed arrangement and things
in general.

Form: I / you / they + verb in the present + object.

Ex: I drive my car to Nampula. He works in the central shop.

Simple Past

Is used to talk about a past action or event that is finished.

Form: I, you, they + past simple.

Ex: I was angry because they were late.

I played volleyball.

Present Continuous

Present Continuous is used to talk about the work you do, the skills you have, the school
you attend.

Form: subject + to be + main verb + ing.

Ex: Adam is teaching in conference room.

I am studying health sciences at Byu-Idaho.

Past Continuous

We use to describe a time when and action happened in the past.

Form: subject + main verb + ing.

Ex: They were playing. I was talking to Ana.

Present Perfect

We use present perfect to express any action that began in the past still continues to the
present.

Form: subject + have, has + past participle.

Ex: Essumaila has lost his key. you have spoken to Yuli.

Past perfect

It is used to talk about an action in past which happened before another action in the
past.

Form: subject + had + past participle.

Ex: I had spoken to Mary.

He has gone to school.

Future simple

Is used to talk about an action or condition that will begin and end in the future.

Form: Will + root form of verb.

Ex: I will learn a new language.

You will see what I mean.

Future perfect

It is used to talk about something which will be finished by a specific time in the future.

Form: will + have + past participle.

Ex: The salary will have increased tomorrow.

Conclusion:

Finishing the present research Work was concluded that, Simple Present is used to talk
about a repeated action, fixed arrangement.

Future simple is a verb tense that's used to talk about thing that haven't happened yet.
Future perfect is a verb tense used for action that will be completed before some other
point in the future.

Present perfect is used for something that started in the past and continues in present.

Present Continuous tells about an action that is happening now.
