ANALYZE

Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.

1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why?
Why not?
 Yes, by doing that the students will always be reminded what to do in the
everyday class. It also helps the students being disciplined and being order
towards their education though sometimes there are lapses.

2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented?


Explain your answer.
 The routines that were systematic and consistently observed or implemented
are the transition of activities, submission of materials, submission of
projects, asking for assistance, joining class activities, fire drill/emergencies,
and use of classroom supplies. The following aforementioned routines needs
really of guidance to be well acted by the resource teacher.

REFLECT

1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
 Actually, almost all the routines are being observe in our class only the
working with pairs are most likely to be observe most, since even in
elementary life are more on understanding subjects that needs better and
strong comprehension so it needs always with the help of others to survive
this stage in schooling. And also, the other one is the absent student, I don’t
know what the exact reasons is why some of my classmates are absent
during class hours but I am sure one of the reasons is due to financial
problem/hardship in schooling.

OBSERVE

Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource
Teacher. Cite the importance of these rules.

Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners’ safety and
security. Rules also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide
a more pleasant, secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the students’
engagement and focus in their classroom activities.

Classroom Rules Importance

1. E.g. Read directions well - Ensures less error in answering the


activity
2. Asking permission for personal - Showing respect to the teacher in-
necessity charge
3. No one should talk if someone is - Practicing respect, brotherly love to
talking in front. Raise your hand one another
if you ask question.
4. Clean the room before and after - To maintain the cleanliness and
using the room orderliness of the classroom
5. Always follow the prescribe - Promoting the virtue of being
uniform responsible
6. No ID no entry - Promoting the virtue of being
responsible
7. No loitering - To maintain the cleanliness and
orderliness of the classroom

ANALYZE

1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the
rule?
 Most of the time students without guidance or what so called guided by the
rules are the irresponsible one and always committing mistakes, to avoid
such scenario rules are being formulated for the formation of the students for
the brighter future.

2. Are classroom rules really important?


 Yes, classroom rules are really important since it is an acting force in the
mind of the learners helping them becoming a responsible person little by
little. Though sometimes it is not observe from the students but then again
there will always progress even if it is a small progress.

REFLECT

Reflect on the various rule set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the same
rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.

Our Resource Teacher implemented a classroom rules which are very common to every
teachers, they have the same rules like wearing school uniform and no late in attending the
class. As a future educator, I will do the same to our resource teacher rules in class. I also
employ monitoring of the complete wearing uniform to the students to make them look
presentable in class and to make them feel comfortable.
