2 Alignment instruction
2.1 Unit adjustment
2.1.1 According to the wiring diagram, connect all the boards correctly, then connect to ~120V
power supply and turn on the TV, check if the display is normal.
2.1.2 Method of using factory menu
a) First press key “INPUT”,then press number key “2, 5, 8, 0” in turn to enter into initial

factory menu;
b) Press keys “CH+” and “CH-” can move cursor to each page of initial factory menu, then
press key “OK” to enter into adjustment menu of each page;
c) Press keys “CH+” and “CH-” can move cursor upwards and downwards within one
adjustment page;
d) Move cursor to one adjustment item, then press keys “VOL-” and “VOL+” can adjust it;
e) Press key “MENU” can exit adjustment menu of one page to its superior factory menu;
f) Press key “EXIT” can exit factory menu at any time;
g) After exit the factory menu, press key “SLEEP” can enter into factory menu directly if TV
is still power on.
h) When factory menu item “AGING MODE” is set to “On”, the TV is at the factory aging
mode status. Press any key on the unit to exit.
i) Factory menu item “POWER ON MODE” is used to set power-on mode, “On” means the
set will be working automatically after power-on; “Off” means the set will be in Standby
state after power-on; “Memory” means the set will be in the last power- off state after
power-on.
2.2 White balance adjustment processes
2.2.1 Preparation
The set should be working above 30 minutes to be in a steady state before white balance
adjustment. Use Color Analyzer CA210 and switch to its BBY channel. Only color
temperature “Normal” needs to be adjusted for the model, to guarantee color temperature
“Cool” and “ Warm” can meet the requirements of BESTBUY test, make sure chromatic
coordinates of bright scales are (ΔX≤±5, ΔY≤±5) and chromatic coordinates of dark scales
are(ΔX≤±5, ΔY≤±5); the color temperature of each model are shown as table 4:

Notion: The data above may change when use other panels, please confirm with designers.
The following white balance adjustment takes LC-42MS70 as an example; for other models use
the data shown in table 4 as a reference for alignment.
2.2.2 Four channels white balance adjustment
2.2.2.1 ATV channel adjustment (AV, S-VIDEO has the same white balance data with ATV)
In TV mode, choose TV source as Antenna and switch to channel 21, the picture is 11 gray scale,
enter factory menu Color Temp, and set Color Mode to NORMAL, fix GAIN GREEN, adjust
GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 9th step to be (285, 293); fix
OFFSET GREEN, adjust OFFSET RED, OFFSET BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 3rd
step to be(285, 293). Repeat adjust GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE, OFFSET RED and OFFSET BLUE

till the chromatic coordinates of both steps are (285, 293), then press MENU to return to the
previous menu or select SAVE TO EEPROM to save the data.
Check if color temperature of COOL and WARM meet the requirement, if not, adjust GAIN RED,
GAIN BLUE, OFFSET RED and OFFSET BLUE to make them meet requirement, then save the
data.
2.2.2.2 DTV channel adjustment (HDMI has the same white balance data with DTV)
In TV mode, choose TV source as Antenna and switch to channel 26, the picture is 11 gray scale,
enter factory menu Color Temp, and set Color Mode to NORMAL, fix GAIN GREEN, adjust
GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 9th step to be (285, 293); fix
OFFSET GREEN, adjust OFFSET RED, OFFSET BLUE to make the chromatic coordinate of 3rd
step to be(285, 293). Repeat adjust GAIN RED, GAIN BLUE, OFFSET RED and OFFSET BLUE
till the chromatic coordinates of both steps are (285, 293), then press MENU to return to the
previous menu or select SAVE TO EEPROM to save the data.
Check if color temperature of COOL and WARM meet the requirement, if not, adjust GAIN RED,
GAIN BLUE, OFFSET RED and OFFSET BLUE to make them meet requirement, then save the
data.
3 Performance check
3.1 TV functions
Connect RF port to central signal source, first enter into menu Channel, then search
programs automatically, check if there is any omitted program, check if the output of
speakers is normal, check if the picture is normal. Especially pay attention that the signals
should include NTSC and ATSC.
3.2 AV/S-Video port
Input AV/S signal, check if the picture and the sound are normal.
3.3 YPbPr/YCbCr port
Input YUV signal from signal generator VG848 with the formats as Table 5 respectively,
check if the display and the sound are normal.

1 Alineación de flujo
1.1 Prueba del voltaje de fuente de alimentación

2 Alineación de la instrucción
2.1 Unidad de ajuste
2.1.1 De acuerdo con el diagrama de cableado, conecte todas las tarjetas correctamente, a
continuación, conectar con la fuente de alimentación de 120 V ~ y encienda el televisor, compruebe si la
pantalla es normal.
2.1.2 Método de fábrica usando el menú
