Other people say that the tobacco industry helps our economy; however,
cigarettes still bring a lot of problems. First, the smoke from cigarettes is
harmful to the health of both smokers and non-smokers. It is known to
be the leading cause of lung cancer which may result to death. Second, it
contributes to air pollution. Despite it boosting our economy, I strongly
believe that the mentioned negative effects are more valid for people to
stop consuming cigarettes.

ASSESSMENT 1-M1
Technically, a leap year isn’t every four years. For example, the year
2000 was a leap year, but the years 1700, 1800 and 1900 were not.
Specifically, there’s a leap year every year that is divisible by 100 and
not divisible by 400. The added rule about centuries (versus just every
four years) was an additional fix to make up for the fact that an extra
day every four years is too much of a correction.

does February have 29 days every four years by Sabur, Rozina, Cameron Macphail & Juliet

Public transportation should be state-owned and not privately owned.
Public ownership of public transportation allows the state and the public
to have control of the profit. Furthermore, state-owned public transport
management can be easily adapted to the needs of the public.
Opponents of this idea maintain that privately owned public transport is
easier for the government because the burden of managing it is not on
the state.
