In many places, new homes are needed, but the only space available for

building them is in the countryside. Some people believe it is more important

to protect the countryside and not build new homes there. What is your
opinion about this?

Due to the reason that population is increasing at a fast pace, the need to expand
more space to accommodate is also increasing significantly. While some people
believe that construction activity in the countryside should be avoided although
land is available there. In my opinion, however, I reckon that having a home is a
necessity so citizen should be permitted to build in the countryside without
damaging the rural environment.

To begin with, there are several reasons why most of the cities are almost occupied
and there is no space available further for building new homes. Firstly, people are
more likely to migrate to cities for better life condition due to which they build
homes in cities and settle there. Therefore, increasing in demand for land for
accommodation in cities results in problems which are related to finding land.
Secondly, this overcrowding in urban areas has led to a huge traffic congestion and
the pollution rate has dramatically grown over the decades. For this reason, the
governments have started to allocate lands in the big cities to build parks and zoo
botanical zoo instead of residential complexes.

To take it in another way, it is more beneficial for dwellers to be allowed to access

to remote areas as new place for settling. The first reason is that the land rates are
much cheaper in the village and many middle class people could have the chance
to afford a good home there. In this way, when many people move to the
countryside, more job opportunities will be created for village dwellers which
leads them to a better life quality. Meanwhile, it is also important for both
individuals and government to maintain the natural environment without
destroying or polluting the area while constructing new buildings. Therefore,
authorities should take certain measures to develop the countryside like cities but
remain its natural beauty.

In conclusion, overcrowding of urban areas has led to the lack of living space and
higher pollution levels. In my opinion it is better to build new houses on the
outskirts of the city so that the people can lead a healthier life in the natural
environment.
