Part 2

Describe a house or apartment that someone you know lives in.

You should say:
- whose house/apartment this is
- where the house/apartment is
- what it looks like inside
- and explain what you like or dislike about this person’s house/apartment

So the house which impresses me the most (which I would like to describe to
you) is my grantparents’ bungalow. It is located in Huazhuang, a rural village
25km away from the city where I live in.

Next/So now, I would like tell/show you how it looks inside. The first thing you
see are those old-fashioned furnitures. They are not very complicated ones. You’ll
see sofas, tables, closets, wardrobes, and a big/huge wall cabinet, which my
grandfather likes to keep his collections/guns/dishes/old medals inside. So they
are in the fashion of typical Northwest China, as they are all wooden furnitures,
and very resilient/durable/time-proof. One furniture that is very Chinese-
characteristics would be Kang, or a heatable bed made by bricks.

I like my grandparents’ place very much!/My grandparents’ place has always

been my favourite. Because it had/has a small garden in front of the bungalow
where I played/had fun with my cousins. We’ve got/There were + swings and
seesaws that are homemade by my grandpa. It was where my childhood
unwrapped/started./where I spent my most precious childhood time.
