SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IMMERSION HANDBOOK

Over the years, the work immersion engages the grade 12 students into
an applicable and valuable trainings and experiences that is beneficial to the
students in pursuing the next ladder of their career in life. Basically, it is an
avenue in the practical development of the students, applying their learnings
prior to their accomplished academic requirements.

Myriads of exemplary remarks are taken for the past years from the
deployed RNHS immersion students. This, in turn, further capacitates the
academic constituents of the school to continually develop, train and prepare the
lower levels of the senior high school until they reach the realm of work
immersion. Partner agencies are given profound recognition for their vital role
upon the success of each and every work immersion of the students.

The entire community of Roxas National High School with the parents of
the immersion students hope for the success of the program.

PRE- IMMERSION
Introduction:

Before we dive into the workplace, we will first understand the


immersion process, proper work ethics, workplace safety, confidentiality,
and effective conflict resolution and teamwork skills. Also, we need to hone
our skills in writing a resume and filling of application forms.

As one to join the workforce in the future, you will need to secure a
medical certificate and the following clearances:

 Mayor

Your teacher will also discuss on portfolio making and updating.


Because at the end of the work immersion. You will need to present this
portfolio. Make sure to attach needed documents, answer reflection and
let your creative juices flow. Happy journey!

Objectives:
1. To develop the learners’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills through research.

immersed.

1. Analyze a real situation that has been faced by the immersion company or an
area/department of the immersion company. (ex. STEM)
2. Identify the main research problem.
3. Determine and analyze the main underlying cause of the problem.
4. Establish the cause-and-effect relations between the various aspects and list the
possible results of the problem.
5. Formulate the possible solutions to address the problems you have identified.
6. Make a plan of action to carry out the best solutions.
7. Develop a method and design a research tool.
8. Collect data.
9. Analyze the data collected.
10. Draw your conclusion and make recommendations.
