FARM INPUTS NEEDED FOR GROWING YOUR OWN CASSAVA PLANT

FARM INPUTS DESCRIPTION
1. Cassava Growing cassava yuca successfully relies upon
tropical climates and at least eight months of
warm weather. The plant prefers well-drained
soil and modest rainfall, but it can survive where
soils are wet. Cassava roots do not tolerate
freezing temperatures and the best growth is in
full sun.

2. Garden Soil Cassava grows best in areas with deep and well-
drained loamy soils, adequate rainfall, and warm
and moist climatic conditions.

3. Organic Fertilizer (Animal Manure) Manure is the decomposed form of dead plants
and animals, which is applied to the soil to
increase production.

4. Compost Compost is decomposed organic material

made with material such as leaves, shredded
twigs, and kitchen scraps from plants.

5. Insecticides Insecticides are pesticides that are formulated

to kill, harm, repel or mitigate one or more
species of insect.

7. Sparkling Water Sparkling water or carbonated water contained

dissolved carbon dioxide gas, either artificially
injected under pressure or occurring due to
natural geological processes and one of the
best-kept secrets to boosting plant growth.
