3. Motivation Games:
Play a game called “ I Remember”
1. Group the class into 3
2. Show 3 words each, that they need
to remember.
3. Each group will recite those words
altogether.

Etc.

We, the, is, it, in, are, and, you, for, by,
as, of, he, she, was, with, but, can, I,
there, their, have, from, each, said, all,
do, your, or, not, us, use.
2. Performing the Activity Let’s play a game.
‘Team Sight Word Race’.
1. Tell the students that they are
going to play game ‘Team Sight Word
Race’.
2. Divide the class into 2 teams.
3. Show each team to flashcard of
sight word.
4. Tell them to pronounce the sight
word shown to them.
5. If one team misses the word, the
opposite team then has a chance to
pronounce that word in addition to
their word.
6. Score is kept on the number of
words each team pronounces
correctly.
7. Don’t have members sit down
when they miss a word, but have each
team member go the back of the line
after each try whether successful or
not.
8. This will make all students to have
equal practice and doesn’t leave those
students who need more practice.
