A young hothead “revolutionary”, troubled and saddened at conditions and atrocities and

suffering around him. Joins a local group and rises to power. He turns out to be ruthless and
a man who will do anything to achieve his goals. This part of the story shall develop in a way
to showcase the contradictions of a “strong leader,'' even if he tries to be pure at heart and
do good to the people, this “good” depends on him having a hold of power, which leads him
to act in a manner to preserve his power first, welfare second.

In a parallel story another hothead faces similar kind of situation initially, but embarks on a
different journey. Becomes part of a local co-operative kind of structure. They together
devise strategies for financial security of their area and even set up their own banks
(independent of the state). Over the years they effectively render the state “useless”, but do
not have much military power.

Ending: These guys refuse to follow a war decree (something like a compulsory military
service for an expansionist program set to eliminate “potential threats”). A clash between
these and the state (they somehow win, the exact details need to be thought through)

Last dialog. The second protagonist tells the first one, “we are not fighting you, we are not
fighting any person, but the power you hold. You started with noble intentions, but choose a
corrupt path, that of power. You thought the people needed a new ruler, you were wrong.
People don’t want a new, more just ruler, they want no ruler at all”
