Unit Menu
Click the Units button in the tool bar to open the unit menu.

The unit menu lists all the units available in the classroom presentation tool. Click a unit to show the sections
within that unit.
Click the page title to load that page.

Tool Bar
The tool bar at the bottom of the application contains tools you can use in your presentation as well as the page
backward and forward buttons:

Button Description
Click the Units button to open the unit menu for the application. You can navigate to the unit
content from the unit menu.

Click the Resource button to open the resource menu for the application. You can navigate to
audio, video, and PDF resources in the application from the resource menu.
Click the window shade button to open the window shade tool. Use the window shade tool to
cover content on the page.

Click the Eraser button to open the eraser tool. You can use the eraser tool to erase markups
(pen or highlight) made on the book page.

Click the Highlighter button to open the highlighter option menu. The highlighter option menu
allows you to select the highlighter size and color.

The highlighter sizes are wide, medium, and thin.


The highlighter colors are yellow, purple, and green.
The cursor will change to a highlighter icon upon selecting the highlighter tool.
Click the page to begin highlighting. Release to end the highlight.
Clicking the highlighter icon on the page will close the highlighter option menu and begin
the highlight.
Highlighter markups on a page are lost once you change to another page.
To change the cursor back to the pointer, click the Pointer button.

Click the Pen button to open the pen option menu. The pen option menu allows you to select
the pen size and pen color.

The pen sizes ('brush sizes') are small, medium, and large.
The pen colors are red, green, and blue.
The cursor will change to a pen icon upon selecting the pen tool.
Click the page to begin making a mark. Release to end the mark.
Clicking the pen icon on the page will close the pen option menu and begin the mark.
Pen markups on a page are lost once you change to another page.
To change the cursor back to the pointer, click the Pointer button.
Click the Pointer button to change the cursor back to the pointer and deactivate the active tool.

Click the Page Toggle button to toggle the page view between single page and double page
view.

Click the Zoom to button to enable the zoom function. Click and drag across the page to zoom
in on a section of the page.

Click the Timer icon to open the timer widget.

Click the Credits button to open the Credits page.

Click the Help button to open the Help page.

Click the Back arrow button to navigate back one page.

Click the Forward arrow button to navigate forward one page.

Click the Close button to open and close the tool bar.

Zoom Features
Double-click anywhere on the page to zoom in on a section of the page. Keep double-clicking to continue zooming
in. Or, use the buttons below to adjust to your desired level of zoom.
Button Description
Click the Plus icon to zoom in.

Click the Reset icon to revert to normal view.

Click the Minus icon to zoom out.

Click the Zoom to Region button to enable the icon. Select an area of the page to zoom into
that section of the page.

Page Features
Click any activity number icon on the book page to open content above the book page.

Click the button to move the pop-up window.

Click any audio track number to play audio.

Button Description
Click Answers to model level-appropriate answers for students.

Click Conversation Starters to help students start discussions.

Click Skill Checks to review skills at the moment they are needed.
Click Flashcards to review vocabulary with students.

Activities
This section describes the activity types that may be in the application.

Multiple Choice: Single Screen


In this activity, the answers are text. All questions are on a single scrollable screen. Select the correct answer
for the question. Click the button next to the question to reveal the answer for that question. Click the
'Check All' button to check the answers for all questions. Once you have entered an answer, you can check it by
clicking the button next to the question. Click the 'Show Answers' button to show all the correct answers.
Click the 'Reset' button to reset the activity.

Multiple-Choice: Multiple screen
In this activity, the answers are text. Each question is on its own screen. Select the correct answer for the
question. Use the number line bar (if applicable) to move between questions.
Click the button next to the question to reveal the answer for that question. Click the 'Check All' button to
check the answers for all questions. Once you have entered an answer, you can check it by clicking the
button next to the question. Click the 'Show Answers' button to show all the correct answers. Click the 'Reset'
button to reset the activity.

Highlighting
In the activity, click to highlight the text. Use the number line bar (if applicable) to move between screens.
Click the button next to the text to check the answer(s) for that screen. Click the 'Check All' button to check
the answers on all screens at the same time. Click the 'Show Answer' button to show the correct answer for
any screens where the answer was incorrect. Click the 'Reset' button to reset the activity.

Fill-in-the-Blank: Type-In
In this activity, type the answer in the blank. Click the button next to the question to reveal the answer for
that question. Click the 'Check All' button to check the answers for all questions. Once you have entered an
answer, you can check it by clicking the button next to the question. Click the 'Show Answers' button to
show all the correct answers. Click the 'Reset' button to reset the activity. If there is a spelling mistake in the
answer entered, it will be marked wrong.

Fill-in-the-Blank: Drag and Drop


In this activity, drag an answer from the answer bank onto a blank. Click the button next to the question to
reveal the answer for that question. Click the 'Check All' button to check the answers for all questions. Once
you have entered an answer, you can check it by clicking the button next to the question. Click the 'Show
Answers' button to show all the correct answers. Click the 'Reset' button to reset the activity.

Sequencing
In this activity, drag the items up or down within the column to put them in the correct sequence.
Click the 'Check All' button to check the answers for all questions. Once you have entered an answer, you can
check it by clicking the button next to the question. Click the 'Show Answers' button to show all the correct
answers. Click the 'Reset' button to reset the activity.

Sorting
In this activity, drag the items into the proper column. Click the 'Show Answers' button to show all correct
answers.

Open the Answer Key to display the answers for the activity.
