My name is Beth Erica Audencial Pascua and I was born on the 4 th of April 2000 in Barangay Tagumbao,
Gerona , Tarlac. My parents were Bonnie Mendoza and Elizabeth Audencial Pascua. My mom died at the age of 37 in
2016 due to giving for my little sister. My father, he is currently working as a seaman. I have brothers and a sister. I am a
consistent honor student since pre-school. I have been through a lot of competitions.
I have a typical childhood experience. I grew up in attending church every Sunday, up to this day. I considered it
as a family ministry. Every week, I always look forward for weekends because I love attending services. I will always
remember the day that Jesus touched my life and felt that heart warming experience, that was the time I have realized that
God is working in my life. I have learned that you need to trust, commit, and obey everything.
Right now, I am currently an active youth member of The United Methodist Church, Tagumbao UMC. I am into
music, that is why I joined music ministry. I am the lead guitarist and singer. Sometimes I play drums, keyboards, and
bass guitar. Also, I am mentoring other youth to play different instruments and teaching them how to sing.
There are so many points in my life that makes me want to quit. Entering Engineering was not easy. It takes a lot
of courage and maturity.  I tried and I failed with accomplishing this plenty of times but no matter what obstacles I came
across I had made a promise to myself to never give up on that dream. It is hard but because of my trust, my commitment,
and faith. I am still here fighting for my dreams. I am proud of myself for never giving up. I now know to keep striving
for my dreams, and that with work hard, fight and passion, anyone can do anything. Breakdown became breakthrough.
This journey of mine is not easy, and I know it will be harder as I go further. There is nothing to say that success will come
to you at the very first shot. Sometimes, you must struggle for years before you can reach the place you planned for. There will
be multiple setbacks on the way, and if you give up every time you meet a roadblock, it will be impossible to ever achieve
anything. So, you must keep trying to make it in the end, and the taste of success will be even sweeter.
Fight. Fight is the most important thing to do till the end, show others around that we have goals, aims, ambitions,
and dreams no matter what they say. Dream big, never give up – the most important thing you can do for yourself. Never
lose focus on what you aim for in life, the idea is to never build walls in your heart and do everything with love. People
who fight against the wind always have a chance to gain, because they prefer the risk and gain experiences.
