Degree Program: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

1. For this class, I want to learn more about the excellent management styles of a teacher
or on how can we be a better leader in our organization, school and in our whole society.
Also I want to know more the principles and theories about the school culture and in
terms of organizational leadership. We can all trained our self on how to be a
professional teacher and on how can we serve our community.

2. I chose my degree program because I want to motivate, educate and inspire students. I
love children and I also have a long patience. I also wish to help other students achieve
their goals in life. Another one is I was inspired by my father who is also a teacher and
he was the one who convinced me to enroll here in Early Childhood Education degree
program. So far I'm loving it and I'm enjoying studying about education and in terms of
children.

3. “Teaching is the most noble profession.”

Do you agree? Disagree? Why/why not?

I agree with the saying that "Teaching is the most noble profession" because teaching
shapes the character and future of every individual and it is one of the reasons why
children have so many knowledge in life. Teaching comes with many responsibility and
duties towards students as lt requires commitment, passion and dedication to all their
doings such as explaining the topic easily so that students can understand the lectures
well. Teachers do not only teach and give knowledge to their students but they also
inspire and motivate students for life and they keep on working to boost the confidence
of the students and guide them in the right path.

4. My strengths / talents/ interests related to teaching are I am a good dancer since my

elementary days and I can share my talent to my students in the future every time we
are doing some physical activities or exercise. Another is I love reading story books such
as fairy tales and some books that are appropriate for the age. I can read aloud to them
the story they want. I also love children and I know I can get along well with them in the
future.
5. My weakness/ weaknesses as a future teacher is/ are public speaking, the reporting in
front of many people and lack of confidence. Also I am weak in multi tasking and every
time I'm hearing some people criticizing me I tend to cry or be upset on what they said.
I'm a very shy and a quiet person also but I believe that I can do all of this and I am
trying my best to wash away all my fears in terms of public speaking. I believe I can
grow more as a future teacher.

1. Role model
- Teachers inspire and teach students so that they can have a better life and reach their
goals / dreams in the future.

- Teachers are responsible for the learning of the students and in terms of showing them
that their voice, thought and opinions matters as it can encourage them to go out of their
shells and to share more about what they want to say.

2. Second parent
- They are the ones who correct the students every time there is a mistake and they
teach them how to behave well in school

- They are responsible to give students proper guidance and listen to students concerns
/ problems as some of them are experiencing problems and difficulties. Teachers are
also responsible to make students feel safe enough at school and never let fear go into
the situation
