SECTION 1: SKILLS ACTIVITY

Question 1
In preparation for the Performance Activity:
Identify three strategies that you can use to reflect on your performance. These strategies
should look to address all aspects of your performance at work in relation to your role (or
intended role). Write these down along with a brief explanation of each one.
Note – these strategies will be used in the Performance Activity.

Strategies for Personal Performance Reflection

Personal Performance Reflection refers to a self-assessment of oneself and in the context of a
workplace, it is against how you assess measure your performance against personal and organisational
expectation on how you carry out work.
Below are three (3) strategies I would use to reflect on my performance in the workplace.
1. Seeking feedback from team members by asking for opinions and perspective of my
performance in the team so far as a team member.
2. Perform self- reflection or assessment to look at how my performance went which will
include asking question such as:
o How well did the task go?
o Was the planning and preparation appropriate?
o How well did I manage task difficulties?
o What could I do to improve task performance?

3. Check my task status against the schedule to assess if I am where I should be, from this point
so I can evaluate If I need to do alterations to my performance to meet expectations.

Question 2
In preparation for the Performance Activity, read the organisation’s policies and procedures,
and the available organisational information on work practices and task requirements.
Using digital technologies to produce the following:
• A document summary of your findings on the key aspects of organisational policies and
practices that will apply to you
• A report about the task requirements from a planning perspective (as part of your
preparations for the Performance Activity). You should identify the tasks that need to
be included in the work schedule and include an assessment of the timelines and work
hours that you think will be required. You should also identify the roles and
responsibilities for the tasks.
No word count provided – this should be relevant to the information they have read and need to
include. Documents should be concise and to the point; they should be neat and professionally
produced. When completed, check both documents for spelling, grammar, and meaning, and
attach a printed copy of each to your Moodle
