Warm greetings to one and all present here. Welcome to English poetry recitation competition 2022
(NC primary). Today we have with us our honourable principal Mr. GC Tripathi, our honourable
Vice Principal Ms. Neeti Tripathi, our Academic coordinator Ms. Amrin Hussain and Assistant
coordinator Ms. Nusrat Sultana. It is an absolute pleasure to have you with us today. In our Judges
panel we have Ms.Lena Barua and Ms. Shahnaz Parveen Shithy (Assistant professor from DELL,
premier university Chittagong) Thank you honourable judges for coming onboard. Be ready to be
blown away by the wit of our young performers. Dear audience as you know nothing really
officially starts without a few words of wisdom by our honourable principal sir. So, I would request
our honourable principal sir on stage to deliver his welcome speech. (Thank you so much sir) 

Pia miss, did you know music is considered to have healing power? Some say where words fail,
music speaks. Ladies and gentlemen our choir believes in the power of music and we thought you
all deserve a sweet treat before we get into the competition. So, give it up for our young superstars.

Now I would like to show the journey of the lovely kids who worked so hard during their rehearsals.

On a serious note, let’s get back to the competition where we would start with the youngest in the
crowd. Today our first set of participants are our first graders. Mention theme please

let’s get started with our first reciter from grade 1 who is a poet himself, his love for his father Made
him realize that he also has the writing “genes” in him. Coming on stage, is

1- Safiy Al Din Solaiman Howladar with his poem “My father, My superhero” which he himself
has written for his father.

2- Coming up next is Mohammad Muhtasim Jawad with his poem “If I was a super hero” by
sally Grey.  Thank you, Jawad

3- Our next performer is Junainah Fariat Kabir who by the way is a Fairy herself and She’ll be
reciting “The Fairy Dance by Katherine Davis” thank you Junainah 
4- our next reciter is Anika Tasnim coming up on stage to recite Little Red by Jessica McDonald.
Thank you Darling. 

5- Our next reciter is a little day dreamer, she can make you in fairies and that’s the beauty of her
innocence. Coming up on stage is Israt Tasnim Zarah with her poem “Fairy Tales” by an
anonymous writer. Thank you little fairy

6- Last but not the least is Ayan Ferdous who aspires to be a superhero which is why he’s decided
to recite “If I was a superhero by sally grey” thank you Ayan.

With this I hand over the mic to my beloved co-host Ms.Pia to introduce the rest of the participants
of the 2nd part of the competition.
Now I will be presenting the kids of grade 4. The chosen theme for grade 4 is “SEASONS.”

So, calling now on the stage is our little friend Suparba Sudha Biswas , who’s gonna recite RAIN
by Christy Ann Martine. Good job dear
Next is coming Ayushman Paul who is going to present the poem JESSICA ERICA STEEZE.
Excellent dear.

Now is our next participant Faariz Bin Reza with the poem named CHANGING OF THE
SEASONS. Bravo kid.

On the stage now I would love to call, Afafa Hoque, who’s gonna recite the poem AUTUMN by
June Kellum.

Next I would like to call, Syed Adib Shabaz, who’s gonna tell us about summer season with his
poem, SUMMER written by Sinead McNally.

Our next reciter is Liyanah Rahman Purnota, with her poem FUN OF SEASONS written by
herself. Please a big hand for the kid.

The last but not the least is Waziha Noortaz coming up on stage to recite her poem ALL THE
WORLD’S ALIVE AGAIN by Jennifer Gunner.
