and one of the main issues that were initially brought
• Improve the delegates’ appreciation of the well
up for review was well-integrity training. WIF members design and annulus construction; i.e. the well as a
acknowledge a need for well-integrity training of key “pressure vessel”
personnel working with well integrity offshore and onshore. • Provide knowledge & understanding of the
guidelines and standards that when observed and
This 5-day training course is designed to provide the implemented effectively will ensure well integrity
participants with knowledge to deeply investigate the • Establish an increased awareness of well integrity
faultier and risk of well integrity. The participants have an issues and how they are controlled / managed and
excellent chance to share ideas and to correct the concept by whom
of well integrity management. The course will discuss the • Provide knowledge of how to maintain equipment for
proper approach to decision-making to provide certainty safe and effective operation
within the organization.
By the end of this training course, participants will be
able to:
The knowledge and skills to make critical decision
throughout well life cycle is vital, not only for WIM purpose • Identify well problems from available well data
but as well as for economic value. The course will focus • Understand guidelines, procedures and standards
on the Well Integrity management systems and interfaces • Appreciate design intent of completion equipment
with other teams in the organization. Integrity barriers are and their impact on well integrity
defined, Well Failure model and how to establish one is • Be conversant in the care and operation of surface
discussed, as well how to create an efficient well integrity intervention equipment
organization.
