Helping Others

          It was a bright sunny morning.  Ahmad and Raju were on their way to school for
football practice.  They cycled together as their houses are next to each other.  On their way,
they saw a boy crying by the roadside.

          Ahmad and Raju stopped and went to the boy.  “Why are you crying, boy?” asked
Raju.

          The boy told them that he fell on the road when he was crossing it.  The boy could not
move his leg and he could not stand.

          Ahmad and Raju thought for a while.  Then, Ahmad said, “I think, we should not
leave him here.  I’ll go to that shop and ask for help.”

          Raju agreed so Ahmad quickly took a move.  One of the customers at the shop helped
them by calling an ambulance.  He also helped to call the boy’s parents and asked them to
wait at the hospital. When the ambulance came, both Ahmad and Raju followed the boy to
the hospital.

          They explained everything to the boy’s parents at the hospital.  The boy’s parents
thanked them.  Ahmad and Raju were sad because they could not go to their football
practice.  But they were also happy because they know they did something good on that day.
