BACKFILLING

After completion of the tests and acceptance by NEOM, backfilling shall commence using

similar excavated material.

2 Care shall be taken to remove bolder, vegetations and any other deleterious materials.

3 Minimum Thickness required for backfilling as per IFC /Shop drawing or project specifications.

4 Warning tape should be placed on the sand cover followed by as per the drawing.

5 Backfilled, compacted by layers to reach subgrade level.

CATCH BASIN FRAME & GRATE COVER INSTALLATION:

Catch basin installation will be as per the manufacturer's instruction or as per the Engineer's

recommendation.

2 Before Installation of the catch basins, the team will prepare the location

A lifting permit required as per the work and Safety rule must follow as per the NEOM Safety

requirement.

4 Catch basin shall be installed by using a boom truck or crane.

5 Level will be as per the approved drawing.

6 Prior to install the catch basin the bedding must be compacted to 90%.

7 Lean concrete should be done as per IFC drawings.

8 The roof should be constructed with the catch basin cover frame imbedded in it.

9 The catch basin cover must be installed after the installation of the pipe
