Note:
1. Attempt all the questions.
2. Write the answers in hard copy on A2 Drawing sheet (preferably) using
pencil with your signature on top left and page number on top right
corner of each page of the answer booklet.
3. The time allowed for writing examination is 02 hours. Extra 15 minutes
are allowed for preparing the PDF file of Answer Booklet and submitting
it.
4. Follow the instructions regarding submission of answer booklet as issued
by the examination section.
5. It is not compulsory to draw the Title Block. However, you can make the
table (with your own dimensions) at the bottom right corner as given in
'Instructions to Students' (Point No. 10).
6. Margin Lines and Table for filling the particulars can be drawn before
start of the examination to save time.
7. Use only blue/black pen to fill your particulars (Name, Roll No. etc. ) in
the table.

1. Differentiate between transition and clearance fit with the help of a


diagram.

2. By taking the diameter of rivet (D) as 24 mm, draw the orthographic


views of a double riveted lap joint.

3. Figure 1 shows the isometric view of an anchor bracket. Draw the
sectional front view and top view of the component. Assume missing
dimensions, if any.

4. Figure 2 shows the details of a pedestal bearing. Assemble the parts and
draw the following:
(i) Half sectional front view with left–half in section
(ii) Top view
Also prepare bill of materials. Assume missing dimensions, if any.
