 Activity 3: Choose Your Photo

A. Donating school supplies to every needy child. A good education is the

cornerstone of a child's life. It is what leads people to grow in wisdom and
intellect, and as such, it needs the appropriate instruments. However, poverty is
one of our country's major concerns; many children cannot afford standard
school supplies and have no other option for receiving them. That is why, by
giving school supplies, we can assist to minimize the financial burden that many
children experience. This type of endeavor draws awareness to the fact that many
children still cannot afford to attend school due to financial constraints. This
unfortunate fact is not something we can alter on our own. However, by doing our
part and providing school supplies, we can help to improve the situation. And, as
a youth, I am willing to participate in this kind of initiative to support other
children by donating some of the school materials I have in our homes, such as
bags, pencils, notebooks, and crayons. Today's children are our future. They
require the finest that the world has to offer, beginning with a high-quality
education. The very least we can do for our future leaders is to put them up for
success and guarantee that they have access to fundamental necessities.

B. A group of individuals is taking part in a clean-up drive project. Some of them

are volunteering youths. A clean-up drive may foster a feeling of community and
responsibility for keeping our homes and public spaces safe and clean. A clean-
up campaign is being done because it raises and promotes environmental
awareness and discussion of pollution and related concerns at the community
level by promoting and organizing clean-up campaigns and other activities. If
there are any possibilities to participate in such activities, I would gladly accept
them since I've been an officer in our YES-O since junior high. And we constantly
volunteer and participate in environmental initiatives like clean-up drives. And I
love the idea that I am a part of good changes in our community, and I want to
become one of the youths that can raise awareness about our environmental
issues so we can take action on it as much as possible.

 Activity 4: Who Am I?

Who am I in my Community?
Community is all the people living in an area or groups of people who share
common interests. Knowing our relationship with our community is critical
because belonging to a community lets us feel like we are a part of something
bigger than ourselves. It allows us to connect with others, achieve our goals, and
feel protected and secure. A true community is about being connected and
responsible for what happens. A healthy community has a strong sense of
community that encompasses spirit, character, image, and pride. We are happier
and have greater personal pleasure in our life when we are closer to the
individuals we care about the most.

Now that we are dealing with a COVID-19 pandemic, our community has come to
restrict the number of positive cases. The Covid-19 pandemic is a fast-changing
issue, and access to communities can soon become restricted owing to
regulatory measures. And, as a part of the community, I can contribute to the
deeds of the community by adhering to the authorities' norms and restrictions,
such as staying at home, by promoting their acts or initiatives on social media,
we can help them reach more individuals in our community. I can also donate
face masks and alcohol because we are not permitted to go outdoors and
minimize interactions to avoid the virus. These three easy ways can be of
tremendous help to our community.

Everyone is taking the appropriate precautions to safeguard themselves and their

families from the COVID-19. To help our communities and stop the spread of the
pandemic. Our help is essential. "The best time to act is now." It is the statement I
learned and gained. There is no such thing as a perfect moment to act on such
community concerns. We must address it to the greatest extent possible. And, as
a member of our community's youth, I may respond to such community actions
by engaging in such community activities and raising awareness. However, due
to the pandemic, I am only able to participate in such activities online by
supporting and raising awareness through my social media account. Our family
may also give food to our local food pantry. Community engagement is essential
because it entails taking action to government, political, and financial authorities
to implement public programs and policies that benefit our communities and
promote social change.
