INTRODUCTION

Cake and bake coffee house is a bakery located in Mohlakeng. Cake and bake catches the interests of
loyal customer base with its broad variety of baked products. The company plans to build a strong
market position in town due to the owners baking industry experience and mild competitive climate in
the area.

The owner has a great experience which he obtains in retail sector for 9 years

Owner experienced in:

 Understanding how to work out baker’s percentage and scale of ingredients

 Understanding mixing of ingredients and measuring correct ingredients
 Understanding how to produce a range of baking and confectionary product
 Understanding of correct baking procedures
 How to balance a recipe

How to cost a recipe and come up with correct pricing for products, most importantly to operate a
bakery to improve (gross profit, revenue & net profit).

1. We are primarily aiming to set up a delivery system, and also to cater to the local shop, feeding
schemes (schools) and old age home in and around our headquarters at Mohlakeng.
2. However, for the convenience of our customers, we also plan to have a 6 cover outlet at both
Mohlakeng and Randfontein.
3. We aim at providing best quality bakery services at a uniquely reasonable rate.
4. We hope to satisfy our customers with our fresh produce, baking techniques and eschewing of
chemical preservatives and other such health hazards.

We hope to expand our chain by adding four more outlets along the MOGALE CITY by the end

Right now, we are not looking at a franchise system. However, we are open to the idea post-2025
