Ocean Hatchery serves as an engaging platform to raise awareness about the

populations. The website was crafted using HTML and CSS to provide an

and easy navigation, Ocean Hatchery aims to inform and inspire visitors,
encouraging them to actively participate in the preservation of these endangered
species.

website, offering an introduction to the project's mission and objectives. It
provides a glimpse into the mesmerizing world of turtles and highlights
the urgency of protecting these ancient creatures.
2. Types of Turtles: Dedicated to educating visitors, the "Types of Turtles"
page delves into the diverse range of turtle species found in Sri Lanka. It
presents detailed information on each species, including their distinctive
characteristics, habitat preferences, and conservation status.
3. Hikkaduwa Hatchery: The Hikkaduwa Hatchery page focuses on one of
Sri Lanka's prominent turtle hatcheries. It provides an in-depth

egg incubation, and the subsequent release of hatchlings into the ocean.

Conclusion

Creating the Ocean Hatchery website using HTML and CSS has been
a rewarding and enlightening experience. Throughout the process, I
have not only acquired practical skills in web development but also
gained a deeper appreciation for the significance of turtle
conservation in Sri Lanka.

Moreover, working with HTML and CSS has allowed me to explore


the creative aspects of web design. I have discovered the power of
visual elements and intuitive navigation in effectively conveying
information and engaging visitors. The seamless integration of text,
images, and interactive features has enhanced the overall user
experience and made the website a compelling platform for advocacy.
