The results of the research are that the application of the habituation
method in developing disciplinary character is good, such as exemplary
habituation directly taught by the teacher, the collaboration of teachers and
parents to develop the character of child discipline and parenting activities. In
instilling the character of discipline, of course there are supporting and
inhibiting factors. The supporting factor in developing the character of
discipline in children is the role of parents, while the inhibiting factor is the
busyness of parents and teachers who do not have linear educational
qualifications. Of course behind the inhibiting factors there must be efforts to
overcome them, efforts to apply the method of habituation in developing
disciplinary character in children such as direct habituation applied by
teachers to children, and also two-way communication from teachers and
parents, non-linear teachers can following the follow-up that has been
provided by the National Education Office in the form of basic education and
training forums, advanced training and tiered training
