INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
 
1.     You have been called for the written test based on the data furnished by you in the online application. If you
have wrongly entered any data in the online application or you do not possess the required qualification as
per our advertisement, your candidature will be rejected.
2.        You are advised to bring this call letter along with a valid photo ID-card (Eg. Electoral ID card, Driving
license, Aadhar Card etc.) issued by State/Central Government and produce for verification in the
examination hall, failing which you will not be permitted to appear for the written test. The hall ticket
portion with your photograph and signature will be collected and retained by us for our record.
3.     You should sign the hall ticket only in the presence of the Invigilator in the examination hall.
4.     Computers, calculators, mobile phones, earphone, pager, smart watch, health band or any other electronic
gadgets, pencil box, pouch, etc., will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
5.     Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers, envelope or any
other material except call letter, ID proof and ball point pen inside the examination hall.
6.     Suspicious candidates possessing aforesaid prohibited items found during screening will not be allowed to
attend the examination.
7.        If any such item is brought, the Centre will not take any responsibility of keeping such materials. The
candidate has to make arrangements for keeping such items outside the examination hall.
8.        The duration of the test is 90 minutes (1.5 hours) and the Question Paper will be of objective type with 80
questions.  
9.     Read carefully the instructions in the question paper before answering.
10.    Carbon coated OMR answer sheets will be provided to mark the answer options for objective type.
11.   You have to select the right answer by marking the corresponding oval on the answer sheet by blue/black ball point
pen only as per the instructions on the answer sheet.
12.    Candidates are allowed to take the duplicate copy of the OMR answer sheet and their question booklet after the
examination. Candidates may note that photocopy of the OMR answer sheet will not be given later under
any circumstances. Hence duplicate copy of the OMR answer sheet shall be preserved by the candidates
carefully for future reference and VSSC shall not be responsible for loss of the duplicate copy of the OMR sheet
already provided to them.
13.   You may please note that the time, date and venue for written test cannot be changed for any reasons.
14.    Outstation candidates are advised to reach the test centre well in advance in order to avoid absence due to
unexpected incidents like delay in arrival of train/bus, hartal calls etc.  It is the sole responsibility of the
candidate to reach the exam venue well before the specified reporting time.
15.   Please note that you have to come to the written test venue at your own cost and no reimbursement will be made
towards travel expenses.
16.   Candidates belonging to PwBD category shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour of the
examination
17.    In case PwBD candidates need scribe facility, they are required to bring their own scribe along with his/her
Photograph and Photocopy & original ID Proof at the Venue Control room at least one hour before examination for
record and verification. The qualification of the scribe shall be one step below the qualification of the candidate.
  The PwBD candidate shall produce the certificate (in the prescribed format (APPENDIX-I & II) available in the
VSSC website https://www.vssc.gov.in.) issued by Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a
Government Health Care Institution with necessary information/undertaking and produce the same at the time of
written test.
18.    After the written test, the answer key will be published in the VSSC website. The candidates may raise
objections, if any, with valid justifications within three days from the date of publication of answer key.
Objections received thereafter will not be considered under any circumstances
19.    The result of the written test & skill test schedule for the shortlisted candidates will be published in the
VSSC website https://www.vssc.gov.in. Hence the candidates are requested to visit VSSC website
periodically for the schedule of above details.
20.   Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
