    Dear Mr. Martin:

    Subject: Request for Information

    Attached is a copy of the agreement under which your company replaced our old roof in 1996.
    With the wet summer we had, a leak developed in our roof, and on September 3, one of your
    representatives, Ellan McBryan, came to our house to examine the problem. Her assessment was
    the shingles were indeed falling and we would need to re-roof.

    I have checked into the shingles manufacturer’s warranty plan and intend to follow through with
    a claim. I have all the information I need to fill out the claim forms except for one vital item.
    When the original quote was given, the option of 25- or 30-year shingles was offered. We took
    the 25-year option but there is no clear indication of this on the quote.

    Attached is a copy of the quote. If you can confirm the installation of 25-year shingle, please mail
    or email it to me at nsharma@sympatico.ca . Any assistance you can provide will be greatly
    appreciated.
