 Self-Introduction:

Greetings, my name is JOHN LOUIS A. NG, a resident from Brgy.

Nursery, Masbate City. The history of my name was taken from the
Alma mater of my mother, St. Louis University - Baguio City, thus
added by my first name, JOHN. I am currently working as a Public
Servant, hence, enrolling to this course, Master in Public
Administration, is both an opportunity and privilege for me to
improve and optimize my skills and competency needed for this line
of work, specifically, Management, Interaction, Problem-solving,
etc.

1.How did you feel with this activity?

I felt that I can build trust with others by disclosing information about myself. With the
help of feedback from other people, I can learn about myself and deal with personal
issues.

2.What are the things that you discovered about yourself after accomplishing the Johari’s
window?
While this tool can be used to improve interpersonal relationships within a team, it also
requires some emotional intelligence to get the most out of it and it is a tool that can also
lead to self-discovery and a better understanding of a team and its dynamics.

3. Why is it that we need to know ourselves better?

Knowing ourselves shows how self-disclosure and feedback can help you to grow, both
personally and professionally. It demonstrates the importance of open communication
and its effect on group trust.
