RSI
The relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator
Helps to evaluate overbought or oversold conditions
Oscillates between 0 to 100.
Developed by J. Welles Wilder Jr. and introduced in his seminal
1978 book, “New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems.”
RSI Zone
RSI Zone Explanation
80 - 40 Zone
RSI between 40 to 80 on any time frame indicates BULLS are
strong.
Look for RSI taking support at 40 level and 60 level.
RSI between 60 to 80 indicates highly bullish momentum
RSI Zone Explanation
40 - 60 Zone
RSI between 40 and 60 on any time frame indicates sideways
price action
RSI Zone Explanation
60 - 20 Zone
RSI between 60 to 20 on any time frame indicates BEARS are
strong.
Look for RSI taking resistance at 60 level.
RSI between 40 to 20 indicates highly bearish momentum

Set Up Rules

Set Up 2 : Trading with RSI and Moving Average


Time Frame : Daily
Settings : Use 13 period RSI with 40-60 band. Use 20 period
SMA
Entry : Price above 20 period SMA and RSI above 60. Take
entry above high of alert bar, stop loss is low of alert bar and
for target follow risk reward 1:1 or 1:1.5

Set Up 3 : Trading with MACD and Moving Average


Time Frame : Daily
Settings : MACD setting 21, 34 AND 8 Use 20 period SMA
Entry : Price above 20 period SMA and MACD Crossover .
Take entry above high of alert bar, stop loss is low of alert
bar and for target follow risk reward 1:1 or 1:1.5
