Aging and turning to senior is one of the hardest part of our life. Well by the mean of
hardest, depends in your current state, if either you live on your own or living with your
loved ones you could rely on. Many seniors are lucky because they have their son/daughter,
grandson/granddaughter and friends who will take care of them as they grow older, which
makes them satisfied in what they have and where they live. Most of the senior who just
live on their own prefer to live in a new place. There are many reasons why seniors wanted
to stay in their home and move to a new home such as: sentimentals, expenses, needs, etc.
We all know that each people have different personalities, hobbies, needs , and lifestyle that
is why there is some senior who want to stay where they currently live and some is planning
to move to new place.those who wanted to stay have thought to modify their house, adding
some chair in the bathroom, lowering the cabinets, removing the stairs inside and outside
their house. Maybe those who want to stay are already satisfied with their homes and
surroundings. Other reasons maybe they are avoiding stress, because moving to another
place causes physically and emotionally stress considering their age. Some seniors don’t
have family and living close to marketplace which makes them stay where they live because
they can easily acces the marketplace to buy their foods and other needs. . Other seniors
are very sentimental, I know that because my lola is sentimental too, they don’t want to
leave the place where they were born and grow older because of the family home
memories.

Despite all the reasons why seniors want to stay there are still many senior who prefer to
move to another place where they continue their lives with joy and satisfaction. They
wanted to move with family their to a place that they are dreaming of, that place could be
far from the city to avoid stress, noisy and polluted surroundings. Some seniors live far away
from their family and move where their family is living so that there is someone who could
take care of them. Those who prefer to age in a new home finds the features that is suitable
for them as they grow older, including one storey house, many chairs, slip resistance and
not slippery floor. Those who don’t trust their family to take care of them move to nursing
home. Because some family members only wait for their elderly to die and take the money
or property as an heir
