STANDARDS AND
INDICATORS GUIDE
INTRODUCTION
This Guide lists the standards and indicators used within the Integrated Refugee Health
Information System (IRHIS). It is designed as a reference tool, to help interpret indicators
presented in HIS reports and to improve decision-making based on this information.
Indicators are referenced according to each section of the IRHIS.
Corresponding standards are presented where available. These should be modified according
to regional or country-specific data. For indicators that have no reference standard, estima-
tes should be derived from previous health reports.
